But with the extreme usage of computers... I feel at loss. I want to avoid computers in my career. So I'm wondering, if I want use my eyes the least possible in a career... What sort of career is there for me? A career that pays well?

Singing worked for RAy Charles........... but don't give up on your eyes. Go to an eye specialist, if they can't help you the sooner you get on a list for a transplant the better your chance will be to get new eyes. Technology won't let you go blind, have you heard of lasik or laser surgery?? Call your nearest eye center for an eval, they are usually free for consultation visits......... And pray, God will be there for you. Never rule him out

You could be a psychologist, they are paid well. There are blind actors. One of the counselors at my school is blind, but unfortunately anyone that works at a school doesn't get paid much. Just find something that you love to do then find someone to pay you to do it, as my dad says.

There are several large corporations (think credit card companies, banks, IBM, that sort of think) that are virtually tripping over themselves to hire differently-abled people. They pay very well, great benefits, and they will do whatever it takes to tailor the job to your needs, including buying specialized computers.
