I used to be a secretary (25 years). I had to quit because I have tremors (shakes). I can still do computer work of just about any kind but I cannot take phone messages. Now I babysit my 1 year old niece half days but it is not enought for me. I would love to do something at home on the computer - any suggestions? or any other kind of work at home?

Ohkk, This Is really Important to me, i'm not very good at picking careers, there are so many out there, and i don't know what field i want to go into, my interests are below.


Criminals/forensic ( court Tv, ans csi stuff.)
Something to do with houses,
the study of wicca, psychic, Telekinesis, Astral Projections, Demons, Basically Supernatual Stuff,

So i'm wondering what would be some careers for me to look into?

I moved to Atlanta 2 years ago and it took 6 months to find a job. It took 1 1/2 hours, one way, to get to work everyday and 300.00/month on gas so that only lasted for 4 months before I left. After that I did temp work at various agencies until something became permanent. I was offered a better position after 4 months and have been here for the last 4 months. This time here has been filled with financial instability so I am returning to school to improve my situation. However, there is a great job in NYC where I am moving but I don't know how to condense the past two years of ridiculous situations into something positive. Please help. Thank you.

Im trying to reenter work place after years of no real success except as mother....(we cant count that as much tho can we !#?*). I dont have a focus yet sometimes i believe I should spend a few months finding a career Id think is great. Is there one out there???? OR is that just not realty and do you just take a good situation and do that.

I have an offer to take a job in Kuwait but the offer is not much more than I make for a similar job here in the states but the job there has a greater responsibility and scope than my current job here. They are basically offering less than I make here and claiming you will save on your income tax. Your thoughts?

It isnot identity theft I have contacted this person, I can't enroll in school using a grant because she has grants and loans, I have learnned I was issued the ssn years before she was issued it. And the social security office has been giving me the run around on this. I have trouble getting jobs, it looks like I'm lieing on my apps when I state places I have worked or schools I've attened. i mean whether a guy looks affects or play any role in getting some job. like if he is tall and good looking. and also if he is waering 3 piece suit and same for teh girl..if she is beautiful...attractive, then chances of getting job is high, is that true? specially in canada or usa?..personal experience r encourage

A $250 fee for a room where the providers were all talking and eating !! When i raised my hand for someone to help me on the computor he waved back. I had marked questions to go back to and wasn't sure how and he went on and on how i should answer all the questions anyway !! Meanwhile the time was ticking away....Someone from work told me to dispute it and retake it or they should give me the point?

I got a job offer for 60K/yr as a logistics analyst in south NJ with Sony. I had been terminated from a small shitty consulting firm after being there barely 2 months, 6 mos. back. I had a nice stable job for a year and a half before that(got greedy for more $$).After looking for work for a while I kinda gave up and got myself admitted into the Masters in Accounting program at UT Austin. Now after 1 month into my new program one of the companies I had interviewed 40 days back finally offerre me 60K for a job. I really like Austin and and doing OK in the accounting program. I feel that if I was in a finance/ accounting to begin with I wouldnt have to wait for so long to get another job. SO what do you all think...should I continue in the accounting masters or take up the job? I have substantial scholarships for the MAcc program plus its Austin, so thats a big draw. On the other hand the salary is 60K. WHich would be better in the long run?
