Yesterday I had the worst headache in the history of headaches and asked my boss if I could go home, he said no, made me do a survey and work the whole day! Today I have been asked to make tea about 3 times since we have been here, no one else has made it and I am the most qualified out of the lot of them, I get paid less and all because I am youngest! Grrr Grrr! Thank god I have a new job!

I have been looking for a local job now for months and havent had much look finding one anywere.
The jobcenter is a waist of time and i have also looked on the internet almost every day.

I know this is a long shot but does anyone have any job vacancies on here ?

I am willing to do anything at the moment because monney is getting really tight and i am thinking about joining the armed forces if nothing comes up in the next few weeks.

I live in the wirral/bebington (ch63) so local jobs would be prefered.

I am 24 yrs of age and have worked in many jobs in my life including :

N.V.Q 1 machanical engineer/plumbing.
N.V.Q 2 machanical engineer/plumbing.

Factory work.
Sales assistant.
Bar/pub work.
Security officer.

If anyone has any vacancies or knows of someone who has please let me know.

drain and the company will not even supply us with what we need for good production. Morale is low and this guy continues to mess with us. How do we deal with this? He seems like he wants us all fired?

I have been working at the same place for 4.5 years and have learnt alot. Lately i have been dreading coming to work and i get frustrated at my boss because i do the work and all i need is his yes or no on whether to send documents out or if the amount i have charged the client is enough and he is often too busy to get to it. Then he comes back to me about it months later as asks me to do the same thing without even checking the file to see that its done. I appreciate what he has tought me and often i think its not that bad here tho other times i just want to walk out and dont event want to get up in the morning. Is it time to go?

I see my coworker sleeping at her desk almost every day. She'll be sitting there and suddenly the head falls and she's out for 5 to 10 minutes. Should I say something to her? Tell the boss? Or do nothing and wait until the boss inevitably walks in on her while she's sleeping? What would you do?

I'm on task to help my dad write up a resume (i'm 18 and have never been employed, but I'm good at finding stuff on the net).

He's a carpenter currently working for a construction company that doesn't look to have good days ahead, so he's looking for new work. I believe this march he'll have been working for the same company for the past 20 years, so he doesn't have alot of previous careers to put down (I don't know if things before that were "big" enough to even be included). He's a "skilled" worker (carpentry, etc. not just a laborer) and I know he's worked as a foreman before (ie: the head guy on the job).

Is there some sort of specific resume for this job field, or anything that can narrow my work in this?

So there's a new warehouse opening up and I wanna apply for a job there because I've heard they pay better then what I make now. Even though I've got a few years of experience in a warehouse, I'm a high school dropout and don't have a diploma. Which won't look good to anyone reading my resume.

So my question is, do you think it's a big deal if I Iie and say that I have graduated? What are the odds that an employer would actually look into it. I could maybe see that happening if it was a college or university education, but it's just high school.

Anyways, what do you think?
