Yes it's not an uncommon feeling. In today's society people often place excessive importance and even their entire sense of self-worth upon what they do & how much money they make, rather than who they are, how they live their lives & deal with their fellow human beings- which is really MUCH more important.

Let's face it, no one like to feel worthless. But we forget that character is more important than position or personal wealth. I have greater respect for an honest janitor than a crooked accountant who's stealing from his clients, or a rich drug dealer who poisons kids for profit.

Just try not to get too down, and remember that jobs are often only a means to an end. You're more than whatever job you happen to be doing right now.

It's very normal to be depressed. I was out of work for six months and it got worse month after month and then finally my unemployment ran out and I was offered the best job I've ever had. Even after 2 years I still feel that way. I got more money and better benefits and more. First of all, it's not your fault so don't blame yourself. You should however concentrate pretty darn close to 40 hours a week to finding a new position. It's easy to sit home and wait for a job but that's not going to happen without an action plan. Not all jobs are advertised in the paper so network with friends, call fee-paid employment agencies, check online job boards, whatever it takes. Things will turn around. Think positive. It will help you make a better interview than if you are overwhelmed. One thing that I learned from my bout with unemployment is to try to live my life on 1/2 of my income and to have at least a year of expenses in a savings account.

it seems such as think ofyou've got suffered from some variety of melancholy earlier to being pregnant and your being pregnant triggered it even more beneficial. someone with melancholy has a tendency to sense low ability, low motivation, higher desire for sleep, or lack of sleep, etc. It appears like you would opt to make an appointment with a therapist that would help you paintings with the help of those emotions as once you provide your warning signs would worsen and they'd become put up-Partum melancholy. It also feels like your life is less than an excellent variety of stressors (finacial, unemployed, and your replacing visual allure by using being pregnant)... If remedy isn't an option you could continually seek for suggestion from out of your OBGYN, nurse, or seek for help communities for expectant moms. draw close in there...you opt to get help earlier your toddler arrives so that you will be 100 and ten% waiting! playstation - i'm pregnant too!

Your feelings are normal. It took me more than a couple of months to be able to find a job after graduating. True, it is hard to find a job especially if you are unexperienced. But don't let this fact pull you down. With lots of perseverance and determination, you'll find a job sooner or later. And just an advice, don't just look for jobs but also try looking for training opportunities (e.g. OJT). If you have training on your field of expertise, this will be an add-up to your resume. Cheer up!

Yeah, it's totally normal. I felt like that, too. I think most people have at one time or another. Just use this time to find an even better job, because everything happens for a reason, and there's something good out there waiting for you!

There is a very thin line between unemployment and self-employment. If you can't get employed yet or if you think that employment is not right for you, consider making a living from the web. You are as good as your creativity allows. (let me know if anyone has a good idea)
