Hi there, For the year I have so far paid just over $10,000 for tuition and books, I was wondering if I am able to claim this on my taxes. I claim myself and thats it. Im single, no kids and work full time and make about 12,000 a year. I am 20 years old and pay rent. i don't know if any of that info is important or not but I was wondering how much of the tuition i can claim and then how much I could expect to see back? I sent money (USD) from Japan to China,via Western Union,
and requested the reciever refund.He said because of Foreign
Exchange in China is strict and to send money takes long time.
Could you tell me why is it take to send money from China,
and is there any problems in FX right now in China?

i cannot argue ,I know the answer to this question , as soon as I can .



but the thing is that I was hoping to hold down that job I had for atleast a month or 2 . Now that it's gone , I will need to use all my saved up money( from last 2 weeks ) to pay off my car ( 400) and insurance(200) . oh man...I think I am losing my motivation!! Had banking overdraft problems. They said they would fix one of them and when I tried to explain over the phone how the second was linked and that the other customer service rep told me if I fixed the major one then it should be taken care, he wouldnt listen. He said my local branch can only handle the second one which may be true but when I asked to speak to another customer service rep or a supervisor that wasnt as nasty without saying it that way he denied me and threatened me by saying if I dont stop asking he would take back the credit he already issued. Is that illegal?

My friend is a contractor and he asked me to help him to set up Quickbooks for him. Since his business is small, I think Quickbook Simple Start 2008 would be perfect for him.

He just needs to track his A/P and A/R. His CPA does auditing and tax at the end of the year.

Someone told me that I can download this for free on-line. But when i checked, it was like $69-$99....

Where can I download it for free?

I have been online shopping for some years now, but I could have sworn that most stores will dispatch your items before debiting your account. I could be wrong, and maybe each store has their own policy. I bought something on CHristmas Eve, I havent received it, and havent been told when I can expect to receive it, but they have deducted it from my credit card.

My W2 gross is 40K. My total taxes on Federal is 5500 and CA State is 1350. Social Security is 2500, Medicare is 600 and CA state disability is 250. I give them an extra 20 dollars on every cheque since May. Will I expect a refund or will I owe the govt.

This scenario pertains to a group of condominium owners under a home owners association (HOA). When our HOA was formed 30 years ago, the HOA was given the right to purchase any condo that came up for sale at the same price and under the same terms that any other buyer outside the HOA might make in a firm offer to an existing owner. This is a fairly common "Right of First Refusal" although it is not necessarily standard in all HOA agreements.

Not having been there at the time of this HOA formation, my question is -- "What would be the most typical REASON for affording the existing co-owners that Right of First Refusal?"

I believe it would be because the ones who bought in first are thought to have superior rights of ownership since they have been investing in that condominium community. Therefore, if they like what's been happening economically and they want to preserve their priority position, they can accumulate more of the same property in an advantaged position.

A friend of mine is currently working in an engineering farm drawing a comfortable salary ,he works in machine maintenance and he knows he can go to the manager level pretty soon but the problem is that it is affecting his personal life, he works too hard as the field he is working on is entirely different from which he graduated, he is a bit lonely , all his collegues are his seniors , he dont get much time doing other things and he says he is saturated with the experience gathered from that farm, time and again he tells me that this is a dead end job, but he has mom and dad to support and he is afraid to quit this first job as getting this job has cost him much trouble and pain, what should he do?
