How does a secured credit card actually work?Me and my husband got into alot of trouble about 8 months ago.I was 7 months pregnant when he was in an accident.Broke his collarbone, and fractured his skull. He was unable to work for about 6 months. We lost almost everything, and our credit is now terrible. Our bank accounts got closed. We are just now starting to get back on our feet.To help us repair our credit, would a secured card be the way to go? Is it even possible to get one without any bank accounts? How do they work? How do you deposit money into them with no back account? Its just horrible right now.We live with my parents, and because of out credit we cant even get our own place now.I dont know what to do. Would this be a way to start getting back on track?Do they report it every month?Does it really help you credit? Please Help, can you give me some information about them? or have any other advice for rebuilding our credit? And what is the best secured card that you know of?Please help

When this was explained to my brother and stepfather at my mother's employer my step father told my brother that he would give him the money once he received it. GUESS WHAT... Last week my step father recieved the check then told my brother that he will not be giving it to him. A ****** gave him some bs reason why. Can my brother fight this in any way w/ the insurance company or the ******? Any ideas?

I'm getting frustrated....everything in this country revolves around credit and credit checks...i am 18, how am i supposed to get student loans, pay for a house, buy anything that needs to be financed, or do anything in my life on my own if i have to have a dang cosigner because i dont have "x" amount of dollars in a bank account to get a loan or any type of help from our rediculous government???? I want to start a business and have it all ready with plenty of available clients ready to sign up, but credit is keeping me from doing so....any suggestions....oh and dont give me that crap about government loans or grants, those things are like looking for a needle in a pile of scrap metal...

I have read some reviews and survey scout seems to be one of the best sites for online surveys. People say they can make 1000 dollars a month with this program but they don't tell how many hours they work. Has anyone tried these programs before?

I read that you "can deduct as much as $4,000 in qualified tuition" and that "partial deductions are available to individuals with income up to $80,000 and couples with income up to $160,000"

I fall in this category, but don't know how to file partial deductions. I normally use Turbo Tax but I have never seen an option for partial deductions.

If you know how to file this I would really appreciate a hand.

I'm own my own business and would like to have independent sales rep / consultants to help promote my business. They would get anywhere between 25% - 30% commission and personal discounts. And allowed to sell anywhere they wish - online, ebay, in person, home parties, etc.. As a business owner, what do I do about taxes? Do I file it for them? Or do they file it themselves? Where do I find the forms?
