Hey everyone. Im moving to Vegas from Cali to attend school and i need to find a job. I have previous experience working as a server. Im currently 20 years old so would that be a problem finding a job? I also heard that some places require a type or tam card or something to work inside of a casino? I was thinking of just getting a bunch of applications to different resturants to see if they needed servers, but would anyone reccomend a place? I wonder if anyone knows a place with good tips? :D I would greatly appreciate any information or advice. Thanks!

that in today's US, marketeers create needs where none exist to promote and sell useless items for the sake of selling and profits?
Rather than filling real needs and wants do advertisers create artificial and absurd needs and wants for profit alone as motive?

I owned my condo for about 2 and half years. Then I got a new job and moved to another city. I rented out my own condo 1500$/mon to cover my cost. In the meanwhile I paied 1195$/mon for the apartment that I live in at the new place.
I saw an explanation at turbo-tax: http://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/faq...
My question is that is my 1195/mon expenses on the new apartment decuctable? is the HOA fee dedcutable?
Thanks

I just recently turned 18 years old. I'm looking to start building my credit.. I had decided to get one credit card with decent rates and keep it paid for a while, and eventually build it up like that. I must eventually get an auto loan, however that's not an issue at the moment.

My problem is, I cannot be approved for ANY cards I am applying for, even from Capital One of all places (which was my last resort). I have NOTHING on my credit history whatsoever at this point.

I am employed, and have been for a little over 6 months.

I was going to start off with a department store credit card, however they all appear to require a driver's license, which I don't have.

Any suggestions, other than "don't get one"?

I sent money to a company using western union which charged me for it on top of the fee I got for cashing the cheque at moneymart. The company is a scam. Will I get the funds AND the transaction fees back? I don't have good credit, much of a job, not in school, not a home owner, the bank said to get a loan... Which company can help me in Vancouver? Should I sew, WHAT SHOULD I DO???

I signed a 6-month lease 4 months ago with 2 other guys i know. We all had agreed to be quiet on the weekdays and do whatever on Friday and Saturday night with reguards to noise. Well one of my roommates dropped out of school and drinks, does drugs, has people over, and has the music on til 4am litterally daily. Even though im on winter break it's unbarable. I've tried to reason with him and he wont comply. If I decide to leave now and break the lease is this legal? They want me to pay a month rent and forfeit my 100$ deposit. (it also states on the lease a section about house rules, including noise, which the landlord said only applys in respect to neighbors *BS*)

I live in a big city, so rent in my neighborhood is at least 600 for a nice place.

I'm still in school, I go to college.

Is there a way? I don't have much money.

I know some friends who've moved to apartments and I didn't want to ask "Hey, where'd you get your money from to move out?"

So that made me think that there was a way. What do I need to have or to do? I know there's first and last months rent and insurance so that 600 becomes about 2 thousand.

I'll be 22 soon and have a part-time, will that be helpful?

Hello, Obviously I cannot pay 14.25 interest rate, and they say you cannot consolidate one, single, loan. What are my options to get a lower interest rate? Should I take out a personal loan with a lower interest rate and co-signer and pay off that way?

yeah i'd like to get a reloadable mastercard because i am only 16 and can't have a real credit card but there are some things that i would like to purchase online and can't because of not having a credit card. so my question is:

does anyone know for sure if i can use a re-loadable mastercard to make ONLINE purchases?

i'm not talking about the MUCH card. i mean like the one you can just buy at the store, it comes in a little flimsy cardboard case thingy and there is like a $4 and something cent activation fee, where as the MUCH card fee is like almost $30. if i have to pay $30 because the re-loadable mastercard doesn't work online then i will.... but it's faster to get the re-loadable card because it's right in the store where as i have to apply online for the MUCH card and wait weeks.

the mastercard is pretty much instant - and cheaper. :P

so if anyone could share their knowledge with me that would be cool. oh yeah i live in ontario canada in case that makes any difference. thnx..

A friend was telling me that if you are buying a home and have homeowners insurance and you have maintenance problems (roof needs repairing or replacing, water heater goes out, etc) that the insurance will pay for this. He also said that if you needed smaller repairs (plumbing, etc) that would be the homeowners responsibility. I thought anything that went wrong with the home , if you were buying, would be your responsibility.

thank you,
sherry

What are some good ways to generate another source of income for a young engaged couple?

How do we "play the game"? so that we can have an extra couple of hundred dollars coming in each week or whatever?

We don't own any properties yet, we have an existing car & credit card loan (consolidated our debts).

How much of our wage should we invest? how much of our wage should we save? etc etc
