I'm a college student. I managed to get transfered to a college mid-term closer to home. My parents have been very ill lately and I need to get there. They're financially strapped and unable to help me very much to make my move. I'm trying my best to get out there, but to be honest, I assumed they'd be able to help me more then they can. Since I can't go back and change things I have to find a way to move myself and a few boxes over 1200 miles. I attended NYCU so I let my license expire. I've asked some old friends but they are unable to make the trip so close to the holidays. Any suggestions please? Money and time are a factor. Thankyou in advance.

If someone were to foreclose on a home. Would, lets say, credit card companies "take away" some of your credit limit. For example if they initally gave you 10,000 could they change it and give you less since you foreclosed?

includes s/h and asked to delay payment for 90 days. During that 3 months the boots went on sale for $29, even before I got the chance to start making payment on the $113. If you were me would you complain? And who would you complain to, the seller, their sales catalog company (which is a separate entity) or the bank who is doing the billing?

I'm 16, so I can't get a debit card through a bank because i'm not old enough to have an account.

I just got a job, and when I get paid I don't want to be carrying around all the money and have it get stolen. It has before.

I'm looking for a card that doesn't have percentage fees or annual/monthly fees or anything like that.
Also, I don't wanna have to pay five bucks to add money to the card either.

Anyone know of a good card that meets at least most of my needs?

I purchased a home from the owner over a year ago. Last summer people came by to purchase my home. I told them it wasn't for sale only to realize that it is still on the internet. I have found 2 sites http://tennessee.state-fsbo.com and http://www.fsbosellbuy.com that has it listed. There is no email address or phone number to contact the business. I feel this is an invasion of my privacy at this point as people are walking around the outside of my home and possibly peeking in windows when I am not here.

I plan on not "openly" applying for any more credit in 2008. The rush is to burn one last inquiry for the rest of this year while trying not to cause adverse actions on new credit. It seems like BML will only pull one hard at the time of initial application/purchase. Subsequent purchases will be softs. See this as offering a couple of benefits. Future BML purchases/credit lines won't be reported to my personal reports (?) and thus won't majorly affect utilization and credit scores. It sounds like a convenience feature not found in a typical credit card. Please kindly list all pros and cons with establishing a BML account. Currently, I have 4 accounts that are less than 6 months old, and 5 in EQ. Other two bureaus are under security freeze. Should I apply?

I'm looking to invest in several stocks, all surrounding the development and progression of computer hardware and computers in general.

I'm looking at apple which has been doing very well at around 190$. ticker: AAPL

Also looking at HP which is at around 52$, and has been going up extremely well in the past 3 years ticket: HPQ

Looking at Soyo which is a penny stock that i might invest in for the risky jump that it might start going big, ticket: SOYO

Wondering if investing in Google will be a good investment, Jim cramer thinks it'll multiply by 5x again, within several years to 3500$.

Dell does not seem like a good option as apple is so effectively beating it.

Have not looked at IBM at all.

Please tell me what you think about all this, thanks.

I'm totally new to Chase. Approved for Professional card with a 10K CL. Some says banks see first-purchase as indicator of habit and might affect future limit increases. Please offer some suggestions.

I work for a very small company. I don't really have a job title, but I do little things such as payroll, account payables, some sales, some general office duties. Like I said, LITTLE THINGS, I don't entirely do these things. I do some of it. But I've been frustrated with work lately because one of my coworkers, whom everyone seems to like, is pretty much bossing me around. I sit about 5 feet away from, and she would email me askin' me to prepare her fedex label shippings, look for folders, go file things, and so on. And I have to reply to her when these things are done. It really pissed me off. Sometimes, not only I don't do these things, and I also don't reply to her email. Apparently, she's been given complete authority over me. I want to leave the job because I feel like I can spend my time doing better things than being someone's *****. I would love to do more, but they're more interested in having someone to do these filthy things. Should I talk to the boss and speak my mind?

I am graduating in may from a college in NC with a degree in electrical and computer engineering. I'm not asking where in the state to work but where to look online to find a job for a new college graduate. Places like monster.com never has any thing for entry level engineering or all they have listed is recruiting firms which doesn't really interest me.

We had a career fair for engineering but the company turn out was very poor. I am also a member of IEEE and i just placed my resume on their employement site.
