my girlfriend and i signed for a 6 months lease but i cant live with her anymore for some reasons,and i want to leave.my question is if i break the lease ,will i go to jail ? or what happenes if i break the rental lease? will i have to pay the remaining rents?what does it happen?ty

Call the landlord and explain the problem. There maybe a buyout you can work out with him/her.

If your girlfriend stays she will be responsible for the 100% of the rent. She can go to small claims court and get a judgment against you for the half you should have paid.
If you both leave the landlord will get the judgment against one or both of your. You are responsible for the rent individually and severally. That means alone or together.
