I am graduating in may from a college in NC with a degree in electrical and computer engineering. I'm not asking where in the state to work but where to look online to find a job for a new college graduate. Places like monster.com never has any thing for entry level engineering or all they have listed is recruiting firms which doesn't really interest me.

We had a career fair for engineering but the company turn out was very poor. I am also a member of IEEE and i just placed my resume on their employement site.

The major job websites, i.e., monster.com, etc. only have a 5% successful placement rate. In the meantime, sign up with a local professional/engineering employment agency or headhunter. Your chances of finding a suitable position will increase drastically when using these employment services.

Good luck!

A couple avenues you can try
- Your City's Technology Council
- cybercoders.com
- hotjobs.yahoo.com
- monster.com
- dice.com
- Head Hunters/Recruiters in your City, search head hunters, technical recruiters, etc.
- Find out who the companies are in your city and checkout their websites.
- College Career office, your favorite professors, dean of department
- careerbuilder.com
- put the word out to family, friends, college alumni, etc.
- check out your local newspaper(s) – physical newspaper and their online sites

Good Luck!
