Your employer has to have them in the mail by 31 Jan. (The way the law is written, that means "in the mail", not in your hand or even postmarked, just in the mail.) Usually you should get them within 3 or 4 days of their mailing. As to when your employer will mail them out, you'll have to ask your employer.

The corrected W-2 C only has and reports the amounts or items that have been corrected by the employer for this purpose and the original W-2 form numbers and amounts that were correct were not entered on the W-2C form at all for this purpose. Try to find another preparer that would know what they are doing when they do get a corrected W-2 to work with at that time in your life. Between Januray ,Februry of next year that you get your W2 tax forms.
