so if i was to get my car repoed and i pay all these fees will it still go on my credit report and affect it negatively? Also, is there anyway that I can turn it back into the dealership and work out something to pay off the remainder of the loan. The truck was bought at a new car lot. Thank you

I understand that those are the only two types of tax that the Federal government can impose on the people of the 50 states.

I am a condo owner and there are 10 co-owners in our condominium association. Under the terms of our agreement, whenever one of our condo owners lines up a buyer for their unit, the other condo owners have the right of first refusal to buy the unit at that price, either individually or as a group. The purpose of this was to protect our property values from falling should some owner wish to sell at such a deep discount that our comparables would be affected and we would all lose value.

Now a realtor (who also happens to be our condo assn. Pres.) has lined up a buyer for one of our units and that buyer is marginal credit wise, needing FHA financing support (typically only 3% down from buyer to purchase). The realtor is asking us to eliminate our right of first refusal, claiming the FHA won't support a mortgage for same if that right is still there. If we give up a right, I say we deserve a FEE to compensate for additional risk.

What would appropriate fee be for this?

I was recently employed for a performance gig on-campus this month. I wasn't told when I received the paycheck that I would have to file this payment under "self-employed" status and if I did not, it would be punishable by law.
As a college student, I do not keep important documents such as those in my dorm room because it's too risky (idiot facilities workers and students). My mother tells me that I cannot claim this because I am still a dependent until I graduate.

What is the proper procedure for this when I have to file taxes? The payment was only $25, so I'm not sure if the amount is even enough to file--last I knew, if you earned $600 and above independently, you had to file it. I could be completely wrong here, so I'm hoping you guys can help me!

Thanks!

I'm from the U.S. To me I don't feel that it is the same because these online casinoes are usually based in other countries. I've used King.com run by UK and it's not really gambling but I play games and have won over 3,000 from that website competing with others. I've never claimed it on my tax forms. If i were to get audited how far back do they audit me? 1 or 5 years back?

It sounds like a stupid question, but really why do i need to file these for taxes?

I know people alway's say the same thing, "co-signing a loan is the worst thing you could do" and what not. But my best friend is seriously backed into a corner and has no where to turn. His mom is having marital problems and their selling their house and moving far outta state. Their dropping him pretty much on his own. Now here comes the problem. He needs me to help co-sign a personal loan, around 3000-4000 to be exact because he needs to get his car fixed. Now I mean I am financially stable enough where if he could not pay it off then I could take over the payments but at the same time I cant just give him 3 or 4 thousand dollars, you know. And he pretty much needs his car to keep his job and to go to school. I mean I can't help but also think about what's gonna happen to my credit just by co-signing. Just figuring if anyone could give some feedback about this situation.

Every christmas our office manager tours the business and gets "donations" toward a gift for the business owner(s). Each department head is required to "donate". I really don't feel this is proper.

Should I consider a new job?

Basically, things are unfair here. In payroll, I get to see everything and unfortunately I have noticed that this year our bonuses are not proportionate with whom is deserving. For example, our employee who is the most senior and the hardest worker is getting a smaller bonus than someone who has been here half the time and doesn't work as hard (mind you I am judging by quality, hours put in, business brought to the company, and workload). I like both of these individuals so it isn't favortism. And logically, the company can reward how they see fit, after all, it is a bonus....but should I stay with a company that has a warped point of view?

My bonus is so pitiful that it's not worth mentioning.

Under the sexual harassment subtitle of the summary of employer-employee rights and obligations it says "In addition, an employer that permits a hostile atmosphere in the workplace may be liable to affected employees whether or not they are specific or intended victims." -http;//www.colelpa.com - (Refferenced)

What I'm wondering is who do you report emotional or psychological abuse to, is there a state department or some one you call with the labor union?
I have a couple of friends from a former job who have just got in touch with me and said that they too would like to go after a former employer for his abusive behavior!

Thanks-Barbara

The excuse is only 2.5 mos at work only so they say they are not entitled to pay - not even for Xmas or New Years days - they are closed the remainder of the week. Not getting paid for 7 work days - is this legal - they never said anything during interview/ hiring. If anything that was a selling point that they give that week off! Any input??
