I worked for AT&T for 6 years. I hated the work but the pay was really good. They need people to work inbound and outbound calls. We were all laid off and they opened 3 call centers in India.

I work as an agent for a cellular phone company and i just went into the store and applied, if you don't have a lot of work experience then your best bet, and better chance of an opprotunity would probably be with customer service, you can go to any of the cellular phones websites and apply for jobs!

One of my children walked into a cellular phone store, told him how much he liked his cell phone, and why it was better than other's and they hired him.

He's been there about six months and while the hours are long this time of year, he loves it.

The first time he applied, they rejected him for lack of a college degree, then a year later he reapplied and was hired, even tho he still does not have a college degree.

This particular child's main work experience was 4 years working part time at Blockbuster.

Maybe by owning it, seriously. If you buy a few shares (maybe as many as possible) you have a say in things like who is on the board of directors. Otherwise, I think the large corporations you describe are likely to hire subcontractors to do everything.

If you do not have access to significant quantities of cash or credit, you might try finding out who the subcontractors are and try to learn the business as a sub-contractor.

best way to start is in customer service. You wont get a job in ops if you dont have the experience.
