CHINA Digital TV has been corrected for some time. Why is it dropping so much again for no reason? What happened to the message board? It was there for a couple of days and then it disappeared. Any news on the stock out there?

The stock price seems to be experiencing normal volitility that is typical of high flying growth stocks; China I belive is a very very good place to be for the long term, and the fundamentals remain in place for STV.

Susquehanna Financial just initiated coverage with a "positive" rating; ... I'd use any additional weakness to acquire more shares, or if you are really looking to take a risk and believe in the company, consider a small position in call options.

When business is so boring that the only "news" is a new board member, then it won't excite market interest. If the market isn't interested, then buyers are few and sellers will out number them (and guess which way prices will go then).

Some stories are that the anticipated revenues are expected to rise, possibly substantially. But earnings are not expected to match, possibly drifting slightly lower. Many track earnings, and if they aren't going up, neither will they expect the price of the stock to go up (as in the previous paragraph).

Still, if the revenues are anticipated to grow, and management has a new set of eyes to impress, maybe someone will get a bright idea that improves profit margins.

If I believed in their future, though I am not tracking with this company, as you might, this may be a time to start buying some more. This will average down your cost basis, and possibly have more in your portfolio when more interesting numbers are reported in the future.
