my fiance and i signed a lease 4 days ago we told the landlord when we called on the apartment that we had animals she did not say nothing then on the agreement she said no animals then we found out we had to pay for water and electric and stated to the landlord we could not afford it due to over 400.00 deposit for for water and electric then we found mold in the vents through out the house and on the laundry room wall and in the master bedroom wall which caused little bugs to appear there is also mold growing around the bathroom shower all in the grout and mold all over the toilet and we also found roaches in the kitchen cabinets we have not moved in the apartment we have a 2 year old daughter and i refuse her to stay in a place like this

I know about the right to quiet enjoyment, but in my lease it says that they can come in and inspect our apartment. She expects us to clean the windows inside and out. I live on the third floor! She also looks in the refridgerator, cabinets and the closets. She gave us a letter that said what she expects to be clean. My apartment is not unihabitable by any means. Can she do this legally and what can I do to prevent this invasion of privacy?

I have been renting a apartment for 2 years in MI. No problems with the place, no late rent or anything.
Problem is, my mother is buying me a house to live in and I need to get out of the lease, I have about a year left on it.
I have combed through the lease a few times and there is nothing about a lease agreement or penalties. All there is, is contracts for pet rent and lead.

How do I get out of this without being charged crazy fees?
I have a good relationship with the property manager.

Any suggestions please?

I need to know this since I want to order a book from Europe and they need to know if the VAT tax is applicable. (It means Value Added Tax, I think.) Or, does an individual have to pay it or it that just for corporations? I hope that wasn't too confusing. Thanks to any who can help me.

I'm so nervous and don't know what to expect. I already have all my paperwork ready. The stuff they told me to bring. Can anyone tell me what to expect. And I'm a little confused....I looked on a website about Chapter 7 and 13, we qualify for a chapter 7 because we have 4 in the family and don't meet the monthly income requirements but then it said that if you can pay at least $110 a month then you have to file for chapter 13. Am I mis-understanding something here? Please help! Serious questions only Please!

Hi! I'm looking to get a loan for only about 3000$ so I can compile all my bills into 1 monthly payment. The problem is that I have basically zero credit, I had one thing go to collections for like 50 dollars like 4 years ago but it has since been cleared. I work as a 911 Dispatcher and make about 3200 a month or so. Is there any chance that I will ever get a loan ? I have been applying for credit cards and what not for a few years now trying to establish my credit however noone will give me a chance. Hard to get good credit without an opportunity.
