Check with an national, direct lender that can help you in any state. You can even apply online! They'll ask you lots of questions about your income, assets and credit and be able to come up with a couple loan options for your home in Missouri.

I included a link about rates in Missouri. Feel free to contact me directly with any questions!!

I work for a title company and close loans for banks, credit unions and others. I find that the people who get the best rates go with a loan officer who has access to many different lenders. This way they can look at all of the rates out there and not just what their individual institution is doing. If you would like a referral to a good loan officer, shoot me an email.

Credit unions often offer the best rates because they are for members only and are tax exempt so they have lower overhead costs. Their rates are not included in searches for low rates but you can find the ones in your area at

Most are for people who work at sponsoring companies, but some serve everyone that lives in the community. If you are eligible to join one, you should compare with their rates before you accept a mortgage from a broker or bank.
