How is the market in Beaverton, OR right now? This home was built in 2001, 1375 sqft and currently has a tenant in place at $1050 per month. Any suggestions...i.e. should I sell? If so, what do you think I could sell it for? Thanks!

Do you think that the Internet will (sooner or later) put an end to people paying huge commissions just to sell their house?

In my mind the only reason people don't freak out when you tell them it's going to cost $18,000 to sell their $300,000 home is that it comes out of the money before they ever get the check.

I mean really. Think of the advertising you could do for $18,000.

How long will it take after I put an offer in on a forclosed house before I get an answer, typically? The house just went on the market a few days ago also. I am the only offer right now. Also after they accept the offer, how long does closing generally take if there are no problems with the loan? I am impatient. Thanks.

What exactly does it mean when you put a "stop order' on a check? The bank told me that the stop order lasts for six months. Does that mean the check could be cashed at the end of six months? Is there any way to extend a stop order beyond the six month period?

Why I mean is like ok say I own a chain of retail stores like Wal-Mart for example, now I have millions of stores all across the globe, naturally I am one person and cannot keep an eye on all the stores. How do I make sure that the managers who report to me the amount of money the stores are making are correct and how can I make sure they are not ripping me off by taking some of the money themselves?

Ok I wanna go get a career in computers as either a technical support specialist or a computer systems administrator. I was thinking about going to a four year college, but going to a technical school caught my mind (*mainly since i won't have to deal w. the english, math, ect. for college).

My questions are as following:

* What do companies prefer more, an employee that went to a four year college or one that went to a technical school?
* Which job is better if I wanna be able to do clean out computers of viruses and other malware, install software, and put in/replace hardware, ect? From what I looked up it looked like a technical support specialist and computer systems administrator each covered at least a fair deal of these....but please correct me if i'm wrong.
