Business Attire?

Question

I'm in a marketin class and tomorrow we have to present. Last time i wore black slacks, white shirt, and black tie. i misplaced the slacks. i don't think its appropiate but could i wear khaki pants WITH side velcro pockets. they look great besides the pockets. and a white polo or a blue button up shirt. tucked in of course

Well, that might qualify as "business casual" but certainly wouldn't be considered as "business attire".
