"Tell me a little bit about yourself" I have an interview at 10:20 tomorrow morning and I HATE that question, I never know how to answer it.

Smile politely and ask "where would you like me to begin"? The interviewer will respond with a more direct question. Good luck!

It's just an ice-breaker, so don't get psyched by it.

A good answer depends on your age and background. If this would be your first job, you might say something like "I just graduated from XXXXXX and am interested in working for (the company you are interviewing at) because......

If you have experience in the field you are interviewing in, or anything related, now's the time to tell them about it.

They do NOT want to hear about your dog, or your broken transmission in your car.....

Be real and honest. They want to get a good idea of your morals. Don't try to be too perfect, no one is. They want to know that you are human, but a hard worker?
