I have been working at my current job for 10 month now and have been transfered to another dept. I have just been made aware of online courses and tests that are required for me to be in my new position. They gave me a very short period of time to complete these courses and when their requirements were not met they asked me to either resign or be terminated. I also found out that these courses were supposed to have been done before I ever started the new position. I don't think they have been fair to me and are maybe even discriminating against me for some reason?

I bought a home, live in it and renovated it. I lived in it for 15 months, then I bought another home. I put the house up for sale when I moved, but did not sell it until 9 months later. So, the house was my primary residence only about 66% of the time I owned it. I sold the house less than what I paid and invested into it. Can I deduce the losses from my taxes?

ps. I understand the law states I cannot deduce a loss from my primary residence, but what is the deal if it was my primary residence for only part of the time?

About 4 months ago I bought a new house and accepted the lenders offer for a $61K HELOC in addition to the first mortgage. I have also made all my morgage payments on time and haven't dipped into the HELOC but wanted to have it for any opportunities that may come up. I just received notice that they are suspending my HELOC. When I called, they said that it is being reassessed and they could not tell me whether or not they would "unsuspend" it . Can they "cancel", or perhaps rescind the HELOC? I thought once I have it , its mine for the next 10 or so years. How would this affect my credit?? Thanks!

I have 40,000 in Credit Card debt. I own my house outright. If I get a Home Equity Loan and move this credit from my cards to the HELOC will it improve my credit score or will it basically stay the same?

that they had already sent one to my address. I honestly do not recall seeing one from them. I want to send them a Validation of Debt letter but would that be wise considering that they only called me about it? They did give me the account number. Should I send the Validation of Debt anyway?

I got a credit card, and when I did it asked if I wanted to get another one for someone else....like me and them share same account ,we just have our own card. So I got one for my sister. Now we both have our own card, same card number though, so my question is, If the card gets maxed out, will this affect just my credit or both of our credit?

there was a check deposited for $180.00 which is from my ex for child support but it says "RETURN ITEM CHARGEBACK " next to it and it deducted the amount from my account. What is going on here? I've purchased some vouchers and I was told they are only sold in 10/15/25 Euros etc. I've got money left on each of the vouchers which is less than I need for my next purchase. I now need to purchase more vouchers...will the balance on each of my existing vouchers be taken into consideration for my new voucher?
