I got a credit card, and when I did it asked if I wanted to get another one for someone else....like me and them share same account ,we just have our own card. So I got one for my sister. Now we both have our own card, same card number though, so my question is, If the card gets maxed out, will this affect just my credit or both of our credit?

it will only affect your credit score, as you were the person who initially was approved for the credit card. your sister, is simply a signer on the account which you are responsible for. any debts incurred are your liability only, your sister would not be held accountable for any of it. be careful with this, hardly ever works out.

Only you will be victimized. It's your account and you're totally responsible for it.

It's like loaning your library card to someone: if they don't return the books, you have to pay, not them.

You should only share an account with someone you trust completely to be extremely responsible, like your spouse.

Yes, you are both responsible for the same number. I would change that in a hurry with no disrespect for your sister. Liken it to a necessary pre-nup!!
