They pay for everything the pastor needs. Car, home, food, phone. Everything. How else does he get money?
He spends his time with the church, and in return he gets money to spend. Thats how almost every business works.

Yes, pastors are basically on call 24/7 and they do have meetings and other business to attend to outside the church. This enables church members and his staff to be able to stay in touch.

Yes if the phone is used primarliy for proveable business purposes. Pastoral/ministeral care, etc.

yes..business expense..i am sure that most calls he gets is from people needing prayer or in need..so yes they should pay for it
