-brand new marble tiles, ($8 a square foot)

-seperate family room, living room, dinette, formal dining
-staniless steel, 2 month old kenmore appliances
- home theater in the basement, finished basement, and excercise room in baement
- 1 year old above ground pool in backyard
- new windows, with a special insulin, to hold in heat/cool
-air conditioning/heating
- very close to new york city, transportation is available nearby
- 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, (1 full bath in basement)
- High ceiling in foryer, with nice, big chandelier, and the formal dining room also has a chandelier.
- New carpet on second floor, staircase
- All the bathrooms redone, with new tiles, lighting, tub redone by bath fitters.
- Large backyard with deck, 2 car garage
- kitchen redone with coutertop/cabinets

Someone set up an ACH withdrawl from my checking account to pay for a Discover card. I don't even own a discover card. I had the account closed and the bank is looking into it. But I didn't get the feeling they would actively pursure the individual. The amount was only $210, so I'm sure they see much larger issues. I tried Discover, but of course they would not disclose any info. Are there other methods to investigate this? It's not so much the money, becasue the bank will credit that back. But I want the person to know he/she is being watched and hopefully deter them from trying to access my info or anyone elses again.

I need to transfer my credits and the college says I owe them 150.00 from like 8 years ago. I was wondering how long they have to collect it? They will not release my transcript without the 150.00 (I think thats why they want the 150.00 because they know I need the transcript)

He says for me to wait for now plus that I always "kick him out" or want him out. I actually don't want him out but we've been fighting a lot lately. What does this mean to you? I take it as he's not sure if we're going to last again and he'd rather not go through the trouble of having joint accounts just to have them removed...What do you all think?

We're lookin at a piece of land that's got a (def fixer-upper) house on it but it's not connected to water, save for the well on property. It's got a septic tank, but as far as water... What should I be asking in regards to the level of difficulty in setting it up on city water? -If it can even be set up on city water... What are my options, anyone know?

I want to be a Pediatrician when I get older (I am 12) because I love to work with children. What are some things that will prepare me for college, medical school, redensicy,ect because I want to be really prepared for it. Plus can you answer these following questions?
Will I need to do any internships?
What is the typical day of a pediatrician?
How many hours do I work a day? a week?
How much time do I get off for the whole year? like sick days or personal days
Do I get a union?
What is the average starting Salary of this job?What do you make a year when you start your job?
When I graduate college what degree do I have to have to get excepted into medical school? Example You could have a bachelors degree in science or something.

Also, I know how much blood sweat and tears that you have to go through to be in med school, but I want to be a Pediatrician anywayz thanks!

I live in Anchorage, AK and I have a problem with my landlord. Several problems, actually. And I'd like to know if there is any organization that I can go to for help with the situation. I don't want to go to a lawyer or through the courts or anything like that, there are health issues that have been brought to our landlord's attention (in writting) and he has flat out refused to do anything about them. These issues include rodents in the apartment building, leaking pipes, mold, unfinished floors, the heaters in one of our bedrooms are broken, etc. Mostly, we just want to get out of our lease because he's been given notice and has said he's not going to do anything about it. Is there an organization we can go to for help? Any advice you can give would be great.

BTW, we have small children in the house, so the rodent thing is a big deal to me. (our kids are 18 mos and 2 mos old)

My little brother rents an apt with 4 other people in PA. One of them decided to drop out of school and never return. As an added bonus, the same roommate kicked in the door and never paid for repairs before he left. Now the landlord is harassing the 4 remaining tenants for the missing portion of the rent. As far as I know, all 5 names are on the lease which also specifies how much each person pays for rent. Everyone has paid their own portion in a timely fashion. My poor brother is stressed about this. Are they now responsible for this loser's rent??

ok, basically i want to buy several different "tools" (in bulk) from a beauty supply company. I then would repackage all of them together in something like a kit, and then resell them under my company name. Can this be done legally? My broker was throwing out these terms and I ,not savvy in the loan department, just listened and agreed. With a credit score of 680 he's trying to finagle a better refi for us. An option 5/1 ARM seemingly is the best but we can't secure it. Now he wants to do a $560k and $70k loan fixed. Good idea? We need to lower our payments somehow. He's trying smaller banks.

800+ credit rating,

Need approximately $200,000 loan to purchase my first home or condo

As you can see, I have an excellent credit rating that I am very proud of. I have been told that up to 4 mortgage lenders can look at my credit before it starts to negatively affect my rating. My question is: how in the world can I find the very best rate available to me when there are hundreds of lenders out there but I can only ask a handful for pre-approval before my credit rating starts going down. I'm familiar with sites like Bankrate.com, but I've been told that the listings on those sites are paid advertisements and that the rates listed are often impossible to get in real life. Can anyone help with suggestions for how to narrow down the hundreds to maybe 10 or so that I can take a closer look at?
