Be willing to spend a little time by doing this:

Look up completed eBay auctions of children's books, especially books that are part of your stock. (Do a search on eBay for a title. Then, on the next page, on the left, under Search Options, click "Completed Listings.") See what they tend to sell for individually. The ones that tend to draw a lot of bids - sell individually. Otherwise sell the rest in one auction or in groups of 5 or 6.

Hello.

Take a look around eBay for others selling those books. See what they are doing and getting for them.

You can see what has sold by clicking on the Buy tab on your MY EBAY page. When that page comes up, enter the title of the book your searching. Click the search button. This will show you what is currently being offered.

Now at the top next to the search button, you'll see Advanced Search. Click that. Then click the Completed listing only box and click search again. This will show you what has sold lately and what hasn't. (Red prices didn't sell, Green prices did sell).

Take a look and see if a lot (the term lot refers to more than one of something) of books have sold better than single books. That will help you make your decision.

Also, if you are just sending books, you can send them Media Mail. It's much cheaper than First Class or Parcel Post. If you are taking them to the post office to mail them, don't seal your package before you go. Some offices like to check that you are only sending books to qualify for the rate. Take your tape with you. Then when they verify you're only sending books, you can seal it up and give it to them.

Most people will know that if you send all 30 books, they are going to weigh a lot and shipping will be fairly high. But if you use Media Mail, you can keep the rate lower for the buyer.

Hope this helps you some. Good luck on your auctions.
Robbie

I would put them in 1-3 listings, but any more than that and its not really worth, as you are charged a small fee for each listing and if you use PayPal to collect payment you are charged another fee. On occasion eBay runs specials where there is no listing fee, if you have an account already they should send you emails when that sort of thing is going on.

Break it into several sets. Offer to combine shipping in X amount of sets. Also, search eBay for similar auctions and see how others set their similar items up.

I would split the books into 5 that way the postage would be kept down especially if you intend to post worldwide
