I am paying $700 a month for a Apt right now. I like the location but there is no pool. There is one that I looked at over the weekend and its $750 bigger and has a pool. The problem I have is I want to stay under $900 a month for everything and this other place will put me at $940 to depending on the time of the year as high as $1000. Do you think I should just pay the little extra cause I like it better or stick to what I said when I started to look and stay under $900?

OK, this may sound stupid but I'm just kinda wondering.....If you had to choose between becoming an EMT or and RN, which would you choose and why???? They are both medical, but they are also very different....Just wanted to see what people think......

Oh cool i get 25% discount, but i still pay 100 per month which is impossible. Can i just send them a fotocopy of last years letter from uni with "altered" dates? Will they check?

I was laid of from a tractor-trailer driving job that I held for 9 years. I not only drove the truck, I managed almost all aspects of a single truck operation. I would like to see if there are non-driving job opportunites for me in the trucking industry to apply my experience to. I am searching for websites that list these types of positions. Thanks.

So LNT advertised a pots & pans set which was to be on sale for 3 days. I know the ad. said limited quantities but when I asked a Sales Rep. where the item was, they said they never received any and that I should just call another location. I wasn't about to drive 15 miles to another location...

I'm wondering if I should write a letter or email to the Corporate location or something? This is just wrong. The Sales rep. didn't even show any regard for the situation. Actually I think he was a manager of some sort. Any ideas/comments?

Thanks!

I think that my job is cheating me. I am a full time high school student and according to NYS law if you are a full time high school student I should put exempt and these people are saying I'm not eligible for it. So now they're taking out income tax out of my pay check as well as federal and state tax. I should not be paying both taxes and income tax as a high school student. How can I find out what the law is so I can bring it to their faces and tell them a thing or two. Because I am not going to stand for this.

I have NO job experience. I have done a bit of volunteering but what I really want to know is if it would be ok to lie about some of the volunteering I've done. Is there any way to check if I don't give them a reference? My resume is going to be really empty if I don't lie about one or two volunteering jobs.

Also I think I should write a cover letter to make my resume stand out and look more professional. If I'm applying to retail outlets, what kind of things should I write on my cover letter?

I really hope someone has some good advice for me on this since I need to make money for a trip in summer 2008 :)

Thanks in advance :)

I am behind on bills, and needless to say I need a job. It seems I am up against bad credit reports when employers run a credit check. I was not able to apply for a temp-to-hire job because of credit. I need a job to pay off bills but I am having a hard time finding work because of credit.

We put a contract on a house, got the inspection or appraisal, found out we needed to do some touch up painting, so we did. we are now waiting for the survey, my question is, after putting in 2 1/2 days of painting this house, can they come back and say we cant have the house. We have our approval from the mortage company, and just waiting for the survey, is there a chance some one could change there mind, and we do this painting for nothing.
