Hi,
I'm having some difficulty with my seller account on both these sites for whatever reason it's not allowing me to list Nintendo Wii's for sale I have three but it says "this item cannot be listed at the present time" I'm really frustrated as I've bought these consoles to sell through my account on these websites and I maintain a feedback rating of 97% over 312 sales on Amazon and 94% over 193 sales on Play.com.I've never had problems listing anything before could you tell me what you think the problem would be? I really appreciate your help.

Thank you

I have done my closing on my new home and my move in date in 10/11/07. My broker/realtor put on the settlement paper that I had already paid for insurance on the house, I guess from now to December. He basically lied so that I won’t have to pay anything on the closing day. He told me to get in contact with the insurance agency so that I can set up a payment arrangement. Should I not pay it? What will happen? Will I get in trouble with the gov’mt?

My wife and I are buying a new house in MD where the state and county transfer taxes will be about $8000. We are going to close in December this year, but will probably take a standard deduction. Can we deduct the property transfer tax even though we are going to take the standard deduction this year? Are transfer taxes deductions or credits?

I gave birth to my daughter, my insurance was oxford and my daughter's was medicaid. The hopital got paid for both me and my daughter from both oxford and medicaid. The pediatrician whom i have never seen, who i guessed saw my daughter when she was born did not bill medicaid, and has sent me to collections. I had no knowledge of her, i never gave her any of my information but know i'm finding out that she has billed and sent me to collection. Isn't it against the law to to bill the patient the full amount if the patient had insurance at the time. she was the one who did not get the correct information because i never met this doctor or spoke to her.

I have a friend (no seriously its not me) who has asked me about this. He hasn't paid a credit card bill for a couple of months and hasn't heard from them, but he thinks he should be getting a default notice through on it but because of the Royal Mail strike, he hasn't had anything. If he does get one can he argue that because of the strike he didn't get it in time and have it removed. I said i would post on here and am seeing him at weekend so any answers before then would be appreciated.
Than in advance

Hi,

I am considering setting up firstly an online shop, then expanding and buying a shop if all goes well. It would be selling items i craft myself amongst other things, so its something i feel rather passionately about.

In your experience is owning your own businesses what its cracked up to be? Is it all worth it? What would you say are the best and worst aspects? and if you could do anything differently what would it be?

many thanks

Hello all

Have a question on my car allowance and mileage claims. I use my own car for work purposes and for the last 2 years have received £450 per month and 16p per mile with a diesel. I have never claimed anything else other than this from my employers. Now i have recently changed jobs and been offered £420 per month as an allowance and 11p per mile. how do i go about reclaiming the rest of the allowance as i believe i should get 40 per mile for first 10000, then 25p after with a P87 form, can i backdate this form ? how much will this mean to me in real money terms when i make the claim or will it just increase my tax code ?

Sorry for all the questions but everyone i ask at my new work place seem to claim different amounts from 35 per mile down to 11p per mile so i am very confused and after looking at the P87 form i am now even more confused.

Thanks in advance

As I have said above I am trying to work out whether it would be better for me to self assess my tax return.

I have been in the higher tax bracket for 3 years now as a company employee, but have not recieved a self-assessment form.
Other than my primary income I do not earn anything else.
My investments do not incur capital gains tax .
So my tax affairs seem very simple, so would be easy to calculate.
Does anyone have any advice on this?
TIA

You not sure whether you get the job or not. And you are not sure what they do with the job applications with all the social security numbers. It is really safe to put you SS number on it? you are pretty much screwed if someone steals your identity...

I just accepted an IT PM job, 3 weeks into it, and I feel like a deer lost in the headlights. I have PM experience and tech experience on the infrastructure side, but not app dev. Well, this PM job is all about dev projects and tying it all together, also doing financial stuff and other things that I have little experience with, and I feel lost. I am trying to just listen and learn and know that it will take time but I still feel lost and incompetent. Any words of wisdom?

This is probably a long shot but I figured I may as well try. I'm a college senior looking for internships and then a job in the advertising field. Can someone please take a look at my resume and provide me with some feedback before I start sending it out? If you could message me on how to get it to you I would greatly appreciate it and I promise I will not harass you with emails in the future.

I am a college student with 5,000 in CD's as of today. The rate I am getting is 5.00% for a 12 month term. As I work each summer I am able to put some more money into the account. I am wondering if it is advisable to invest the money in a mutual fund (or stocks) in order to get a better return (if so any recommendations of mutual funds) or keep the money in CD's. I would prob need the money within 3-5 years. thanks for your help!

I have been warned to not put all my eggs in one basket, specifically, do not keep all of my retirement money in the same account. They claimed that the money I put in is not insured in case the company I have it with (in this case Principal) happens to close shop. Is this true? What are some opinions?
