It is coming and yes it will collapse the economy... along with other issues such as countries who stop using American dollars. Don't you listen to Ron Paul?

And just where will our government get all the money to pay off those credit cards? We as a nation are TRILLIONS of dollars in debt...and you want the government to take on even MORE debt by paying off people's credit cards? With money our government doesn't even have? Makes absolutely no sense.

I can say from experience nothing.
There is no more debtors prisons. Just don't expect to get credit anywhere.
You can always create a new credit. My wife did but I am not sure this is the place to tell you how...
This is an international board...you see some flags at the bottom?
Listen the economy of the USA is getting ready for a collapse.
It will be because of bigger things then credit cards but that is one of it. Spend what you can now... I figure in the new year.
Load those cards.

The economy would collapse, because consumer spending is 70% of GDP and a lot of that 70% is people buying things they can't afford and don't want to wait until they have the cash.
