I am asking this question because i cannot a hold of that person, and he has not provided the tracking number yet, he said that he'll ship the item on friday, he told me that thursday night.

Now im wondering that if he has shipped the item on friday(overnight express) via fedex will i be recieving the item today monday, columbus day or not?

You can ask FedEx if they will tell you, but having the tracking number is better.

The seller should send you a tracking number. You go to the FedEX web site and put in the number and they will tell you exactly when and where the package is. You can do that with anything you ship through the post office too. The seller has to take the item to the post office to get it tho' and many don't want to do that. Email the seller and ask him for the tracking number. . .

eBay should have sent you a tracking number...call or email FEx and ask them to track it and send you an email. as long as you're the receiving party.
