I hope this information helps you in your search for something you can get behind. See the source and add my company to your growing list of options. Very small investment.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
(Copyright 2007 www.GetTheExperts.com)

INVESTMENT:
If you want to go into business for yourself you will need to make an investment. Even if you started a lemonade stand you would need to invest in lemons cups sugar etc.

SELLING:
Most people that say they want a business say they don't want to sell anything. My question is "How is anything going to get sold if someone doesn't sell it?" We sell things everyday anyway without getting paid for it. For example when you recommend a good movie to your friends and they go and see it Warner Brothers will never send you a check. Another example is when you where a Sean John or Hilfiger t-shirt....you become a walking billboard for the company and they didn't even send you a coupon.

SCAMS:
First there is a difference between a JOB opportunity and a BUSINESS opportunity. You should NEVER invest in a job. If someone offers you a job and they ask you for money RUN LIKE THE WIND. You should expect to invest in a business as I mentioned earlier. However scams include companies that ask for your "investment" when they recruit you. Then ask you to recruit others but there is NO REAL PRODUCT or SERVICE being offered. So you are selling an opportunity to sell an opportunity. That makes no since at all. Nothing wrong with recruiting...your job recruited you and everyone needs a team to work with.

TIME:
It takes time for anything to grow especially a business. One of the reasons most businesses don't survive the first year is because most business owners don't have this important attribute….....patience.

MY COMPANY:
My company is a 34 year old NYSE company called Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc.
Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. and Kroll Background America, Inc. have partnered to provide a unique solution for the fastest growing crime in America – IDENTITY THEFT. We are looking for professional sales associates to market and sell this new service, in addition to representing and selling our core service, the Pre-Paid Legal Family membership. Check the source for more information.

Anything that requires any money up front to start is not legit. So avoid those scams. Most situations that advertise jobs at home are scams so be very careful - many are not legit.

There are only a few jobs that allow 100% work at home situations. One I know of is reservation booking for JetBlue Airlines, but it is difficult to get these jobs.
