I am sincerely looking for a work at home job! So far they wanted $1 and all I got was an expensive headache! Then I started to receive sexually explicit e-mail. For those who may have sent those @!@%$##@$ e-mails, I am a straight woman! Please, please have mercy on a person who just wants to pay her college debt and take care of my family. Also would like to make a little money to buy me a small tree. Is there ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN BE TRUTHFULL AND HONEST!!!! without taking anything more from me. Signed.... Burnt up, down and out!

My 22 year old brother passed away, a few days after, my mom called Citi to cancel his credit card and the lady she talked to said that Citi will write-off the balance (approx $950 in which he normally paid off balance monthly). The Citi lady just asked the for the date and county he died in to check the facts.

Now, a month later, the bill was received anyway and now Citi is saying that that is not their policy and the balance is due and they are not putting the $400+ in cash rewards toward it.

All they are doing is making this difficult time even worse. Does anybody know what is going on and what is their real policy?

or companies that need you to help them provide wire transfers for their clients who are out of the country and they pay you a 5-10% commission? Are they legitimate or is this a scam to get your bank account info?

I have debts that were charged off with an open date of 8/2000. These should be off my credit report now shouldn't they? Also, why is it when an account gets sold to a new collection agency it shows up as a new item on my report with a new open date, when the original debt is over 7 years old now?

I was walking in the supermarket and stumbled across two blank money orders on the floor. One for 72.00 and another for 500.00. Should I return it to the clerk at the Money order booth? The Supermarket manager? Or just call the store all this week to see if someone lost the money order with the exact amount? Should I deposit it in my account and wait to a while to see if the person will track it back to my account, then return it?

I just got a phone call from Bill Stewart with Graham Noble and Associates and he claimed that I was being sued for over $9,000 , what he claimed was three times the amount they bought the account for. The thing is, that he claimed i lived and opened the account in Texas and was very rude. Essentially, i am judgement proof and what I don't get, is all my closed and collection accounts are all at the end of their seven years. I had someone two years ago try to sue me and they were told is was past the limitations to do so. I checked my credit report again and the accounts have been sold again and began over again with time. I didn't think they could do that. I have heard some pretty shady things about this company and all he tried to do was to get me to admit that it was my debt and I was going to pay--neither of which I said because he kept saying that it was being recorded and he was going to sue. Have you had any dealings with them? Everything is over 7 years old now.

I contribute a percentagfe of my paycheck into a 401K program. I move this money around in different funds and some have a good Personal Rate of Return, while others are not so good. On my entire portfolio I have an average rate of return of 1.000% to 2.000%. What type of return rate should I aim for?

I currently pay 2 different mortage payments with 3rd Federal bank.

I would like to turn the 2 mortgages into one.

I want to turn my home equity variable loan into a LOW fixed rate.

How and where do I go about doing this?
Which companies offer the lowest rate?
How do I find these companies.

Serious replies only please.

Thanks - Curt
