Every state and every job is different. It is possible that if your results come back negative it will break company policy and they wont have to pay your salary

If you have an accident on the job, and they send you for a drug test, they normally do not let you come back to work until the results of the drug test comes back. As long as the drug test comes back negative, the employer will have to pay you. If you were hurt when the accident took place, and could not work because of it, it then becomes a Workman's Compensation case and the WC insurance company will be the ones to pay for your time off. If the drug test comes back positive you will probably be out looking for another job. When I had an accident I always made sure I went for an independent drug test, one I paid for. I got that advice from an old timer at my job and it is a good idea.

they sent you for a drug test to rule out that could have been
why you had the accident. You should be at the Doctors
not sitting at home waiting on the results. You can have
your Doctor to a Drug Test just in case they try and say
you were, and it would be there word over yours.

If everything you said was true than I would take legal action. I would go to the drug test lab and have them put in writting they were closed those days and these hours. Make a copy of your husbands drug referral sheet and keep records to cover your butt. Don't wait to long on this. If your husband approaches the owner or HD and they still give problems than get an attorney. Good luck

Your employer will have to pay you for the lost time if you come up clean, and you already know the answer to whether you were or not. If you were not clean, this will be a whole different story, plus you will probably lose your job, or take the drug program option, which will be your choice. Good luck

What's your work policy , but I really can't see why the drug test would not be instant every work place has instant even if they send you to a lab the test should be instant they should have the result the same day of the incident .

Maybe unemployment. Call your human resources!.............

Hope you PASS!........

What did you sign when you were hired?
Look at your paperwork from the early days when you were a new hire, the policy might be stated there.
