Ok so.. I started a new job at a subway where I work with kids that are my age and younger then me. I'm 20. when I talk to them I feel like I am a lot better off then they are. Am I? I work at a doctors office in the mornings and get about 20 to 25 hours a week and then subway another 20 hours a week, just for extra cash. I live with my boyfriend and we rent a house together. I pay for my health and car insurance, as well as my car and phone bills. I also cosigned a credit card with my boyfriend to help build my credit. I have weekend off and everyother weekend we take care of his 2 year old daughter. I have some college but am currently changing to an online classes school. Am I doing well for my age, or am I in over my head?

I am so depressed and stressed. My good credit has flatlined in the past couple months when my hubby lost his job. after 5 months he gets one and it's a 1/3 pay of the one he had. Bills are 3 or 4 months past due. OUr house is foreclosing soon.... we are trying to sell it and have had no luck in 5 months.
I have 6 year old and a newborn and i feel bad that i can't buy them anything. My father in law is handing us money left and right just to buy diapers and pay bills.
I can't decide whether to take a better job. I can't get off work in time to go write a bad check to pay the utilities or they will get cut off. today is the last day.

i can think of more things. but i just want to quit my job today and go home. I hate it here but i have good insurance and pay so i can't leave. I have a family.

ugh! help!

I asked about insurance covering an IUD that costs approximately $400 with an in-network provider.... this is the answer I got:

It would depend on your going to an in-network provider, then you would have to meet your deductible & you would pay 10% of the allowed amount. The balance would be written off with an in-network provider. If you went to an out of network provider you would be responsible for your deductible, 30% of the allowed amount was well as any amount that the provider chose to bill you for over the allowed amount.

Hi all,

My wife and I own a house for 16 months now in Ontario, Canada. This is our first home and we went in with 5% down. Real estate prices in our area have gone up some good 20%, BUT our calculations show us that even with the price increase, we'd lose 10K if we sold now.

Here's how:
We've calculated all the money we've invested over the course of 16 months (property tax, insurance, down payment, initial lawyer expenses, mortgage payments) and when we add it all up, and deduct agent's 5%, we're gonna come up $10 K short.

Is this something that's common for sellers like us, who've spent short time owning a house? Does anyone know if there's some sort of formula on what you should expect to get back on investment after one year?

We're selling the house cuz my wife got a job transfer, so we need to sell.

I'd really appreciate if anyone local to Ontario could share advice.

Hi experts.

Unfortunately I just found out that I had a very small obscure student loan that went into repayment last month and I missed the bill. I switched addresses and somehow forgot to have them forward that loan to my new address :( So I checked my credit report and it's there reported as an adverse account and it says TransUnion says it will not be taken off until 06/2014.

However it seems like I've heard of other people getting these things removed from their report after they pay the amount overdue. Is this something I'm just imagining or can I really pay the amount due and then have the error removed from my credit report?

Thanks so much for your help
