When you go for an interview, if they absolutely LOVE you then they'll tell you right away but mostly they have other people who are going to and already have been interviewed so they can pick who is best for the job. To make a company hire you right away (it depends what job) you have to have really good skills but so many people get hired over other people because of their personality and sense of humor. Smile a lot, don't be shy at all, and show off your skills. The people who hire people need someone who is easy to talk to, easy going and sociable, not aggresive, tense and nervous.

Anyways, I really hope I helped you and good luck with your interview!!!!

Hi

The answer is not a definite yes or no, it depends on the role that you are applying for and how many people they are looking for. The more positions they have the more chance you have even if there are a large number of applicants.

If the role is one that attracts lots of applicants, the employer may want to interview a number of candidates to make sure they are choosing the best one for the job. This is in the interest of the candidate and the employer.

If the job is one that is very difficult to fill and there are few applicants, this will make any candidates that apply more attractive and normally reduces the number of interviews and there is a shorter time between interview and offer.

Interviews normally look to see whether what is written on the CV accurately reflects the background and experience of the applicant and whether the candidate would fit into the organisaiton - that is do they have the right attitude for the business.

Speak to someone you know before you go to the interview ask them to help you by giving you a pretend interview - this will help you to prepare for the questions that you are likely to be asked and make you more confident during the interview.

If they are interviewing, they probably need people so will be hiring someone soon. If they have lots of people to interview, "soon" can be a month or so.

It would be unusual to be offered a job at the interview, although it does happen. It's more often that they call you later.

Companies usually do not make spot judgments. If it happens you should be sure it is what you want before accepting. Topics like this are discussed in careerkit.blogspot.com. Check out the blogs achieves for good career advice.
