Like a small job that i wouldn't have to go to everyday. I'm scared of talking to people a lot, so no babysitting. My mom suggested working as a cashier or something at a supermarket, but i'm scared of seeing people i know there. So what else is there?

anyway, I'm a sophmore, at the end of this year Ill have an associates in accounting.

I have a little over 1 year of experience as a data entry clerk. left beacuse I was laid off in a company downsizing.

I go from temp agencies all the time I take there aptitude test and say my scores are incredible (90 compared to average of 70) and they say they will find work fo rme as soon as possible and then I NEVER hear from them again, i say I'm up for anything in entry level accounting and data entry or any kind of office clerk position, I have my own car so I don't need public transportation, I act very professional always wearing a conservative suit and tie.

seriously WHERE CAN A 19 YEAR OLD FIND A DAMN JOB

NO ONE WILL HIRE ME

I live in NC. Its impossible for me to find an Office clerk job.

I Look EVERYWHERE

I send in my resume (which Is professional with spelling and punctuation, (not like this question.)

I see online ads from charlottehelpwanted.com and send my resume, then call back and NOTHING

I go to job fares pass out my resume and references the recruiters give me the bullshit we'll contact you then...NOTHING

so i have a couple questions...first and foremost i know i would be doing a lot of driving..i love driving though and it's the only thing i'm really good at. I deliver now, i've driven across the country, to canada, florida...one time i even drove from oklahoma city to philadelphia without stopping (27 and half hours..i know that wasn't safe)
so that parts def fine with me. I only drive stick and i'm up to the challenge of learning how to drive a big rig..
the only thing that bothers me is i dont like to be away from my sig other so much...so
are there truck driving jobs that i can take without driving over the road like regional or statewide?..being a new driver
and how readily available are those jobs?
I also hear that some companies will let you partner up with your husband/wife? I'd like to get more insight on that?
and also how many female truck drivers are there?
and is being a female truck driver at truck stops any more unsafe than being a male one?
anything else to add?

I'm 18 and I need to start paying for my own car insurance. Any suggestions for lowering the cost? I live in New York which means my parents are finacially responsible for me until I'm 21. I know that everyone says to try and stick it out but that is not an option. I'm going to be living with a close friend and we need to keep our expenses to a minimum. Any tips concerning car insurance, OR health insurance too would be great.

I'm looking for a certain career field in which you have the option to opt to travel. International Teaching was the career I found that give you this option of either teaching from the states, or going anywhere in the world as you please. I was wondering if their were similiar careers that give you this option?
Thank you.

I work for a bank in michigan and we are in a really tough economy- which has folks on end about their finances. It seems I am getting a record number of overdraft fee reversal requests and for the most part if I see the customer's history has been pretty consistant, I will offer to refund a few fees. That's how I handle every inquiry but more often then none, I get the in my face angry person who feels it's my fault I overdrew their account. Now, I been in the industry for 11 years and I know my stuff but these people refuse to take responsibility for their finances and come in once or twice a month to "beg" for refunds (some resort to lying which makes me sad) all this turmoil has me so on end and personally frustrated. How can I "take the heat" in these situations while maintaining a professional appearance? Any thoughts on what I can say to these customers'? I hope there are some custoemr service gurus out there to help : )

I am researching first so that I will know what I am getting into. I know most of the details regarding health guidelines, since I was in food service for many years. Now I need to know how to obtain the values for the lable requirements. I have the daily value chart, but now I am stumped! I only use 3 ingredients, so I don't think it would be too hard, yet figuring what percentage of each ingredient per serving, serving size, calories, etc is where I am confused. Are there companies that do that for you?

She must be a number of months behind. I asked her why she didn't sell it and she said the car isn't worth as much as she owes and she said she couldn't legally sell it anyway. I don't think I'm going to bail her out like she's asking... but what financially.. what is her best bet? Should she turn the car in... get a bomb and pay off the difference she owes?? or what?
