Oh sorry. It's hard when you've got a priority (college) to work around. Have you looked at Craigslist.org? Check there. Look online (you seem to have a computer and clearly you have computer skills). Monster? HotJobs? You don't say how much time you have to work. Maybe you should look for a less "traditional" position or schedule. I mean, I know attorneys who only need administrative help 3 days/week. I've also known new mothers who "split" the workweeks -- each working 1/2 time (20 hours). So, try thinking outside of the box and don't give up. You'll find something soon, I'm sure.

What you have to realize is that your are not in a "Business Mecca". It takes several months for an experienced worker to find a job. You have a few options. If you are single, no kids etc or are still a full time student you should try to: a) take an internship which will give you extra experience and the contacts you need in order to get a foot in the door or b) transfer to another location and school. For example, if you came to say Washington, DC you would have no problem finding a job as an accountant and there are plenty of universities in the area that cater to working adults. You may even be able to secure a government job which later on will enable you to transfer to another part of the country if you chose to. I know it may sound a little "not what you wanted to hear". But it just takes time. I got called for a job 3 months after I applied. And then it took 3 weeks for them to tell me I got it.

Start applying in other markets where you'd be interested in working. See if they have universities that cater to working adults and apply for school. By the end of this semester, you should know something job wise and be ready to make the move if you need to.

You are just a student , what can you have on a resume at this point ?
Your resume is competing with people who have real time work world experience .
Forget resume until you have at least a degree to put on it .
Now you have no degree , no experience , nothing !

Student ? RESTAURANTS !

They have very flexible schedules , and if you have the aptitude for waiting tables , the tips can be Huge !

Not fast food restaurants , real restaurants where the adults and people with good jobs eat .

Right now you need work experience of any kind. Apply in the fast food industry and grocery stores. When you get hired there wait one to two months and then start applying again in the offices.
