Like a small job that i wouldn't have to go to everyday. I'm scared of talking to people a lot, so no babysitting. My mom suggested working as a cashier or something at a supermarket, but i'm scared of seeing people i know there. So what else is there?

Well...being in highschool....cashier is probably the only thing you could do other than babysitting. Why are you scared to see people you know? You need to get over your fear...and just get a job...it will boost your confidence and you will make some new friends while you are at it. I am still really good friends with the people I worked with in highschool more than 4 years later. Good luck!

You could look for telemarketing or phone customer service jobs. You wouldn't have to see people, just talk on the phone. You could even say your name was something totally wrong and change your voice if you were afraid of people talking to you. How about working at a movie theater, free movies and popcorn and you could be the person that sits in the booth with the film reel and start and stop the movie.

during high school i used to bus tables at a resturaunt on weekends. i made minimum wage plus 10% of the waitresses tips. that was good money!

apply to be a busser at a local resturaunt. it's not a hard job and you might not have to work on weekdays leaving you plenty of time for school work too.

in case you assume to get a job this is on the subject of your destiny occupation on an identical time as you're nonetheless an adolescent, you're residing in a fool's paradise. Any activity you may get is a robust activity. in basic terms determine to do the superb you are able to. i won't be in a position to tell you the way many young ones i've got fired because of the fact they concept the activity become below them. Getting and conserving a job and getting a solid advice out of your organization are plenty extra significant than waiting around for the "suitable" activity. My infants have been given some quite great jobs pertained to their destiny paintings, yet that become as quickly as all of them put in their time in known teen jobs--washing dishes in a eating place, babysitting, paper routes, quickly nutrition, etc. Volunteering on your chosen area is likewise an dazzling thank you to interrupt in. My dd volunteered at our interior of sight public get entry to television station as a woman Scout service venture. whilst the station mandatory an intern, they employed her. Ds worked in the fireworks cubicles for his church young ones team and got here across an unknown expertise for revenues. he's now a magnate genuine property agent. do in basic terms not assume to start on the best, or perhaps in the middle. in case you get a job sweeping flooring for an engineering business enterprise, count quantity your fortunate stars. it gets your foot in the door, and that's all you are able to desire for on an identical time as you're nonetheless at school.

Retail and food service are pretty much your only options. Just make sure that you don't let them schedule you for too many hours; my job completely took advantage of me while I was in high school and my grades suffered for it.
