I was just wondering who would pick the title company when you go to closing. I know it is usually the seller but I have seen in the RESPA rules #9 the Buyer has the choice?

I am looking to sell my home and have had trouble finding a buyer for the current asking price. Was told by a real estate agent that it may be possible to carry my heloc(2nd mortgage) with me after the sale as an unsecured debt. This would allow me to lower my asking price and simply pay the outstanding heloc(would now be unsecured debt) as one would pay down a credit card.
Of course this is all contingent on the lender approving such a conversion. Sound like anything anyone has heard of before or is the agents information incorrect?

We are movieng oct 11 and we already have are house pending to sale. the problem is that our house we are buying dosent close till october 11 and the house we are suppose to be out of the house we are selling by oct 2 we ask the person we are buying are new house from if she could get out any sooner and she said no i have 2 kids in school and me and my hubby work we are moving 849 miles away from the house we are selling what do we do???

I gave earnest money on a house 3 wks ago seller goes on vacation I'm still waiting for an answer if they accept my bid. the first bid they rejected so i offered more money they said ok and asked for more earnest money i gave that too. now what? how long should i have to wait for an answer? I think he is jerking me around to see if they get a better bid, the earnest check of mine was not cashed so does that mean nothing is valid until contract is drawn? the house has been on the market long enough that they reduced the price. this is my first house new to this. what are laws or question & answers for me to find? thank for any help I live in PA

I recieved a check for $2,194.00, from the Authentic claims, Inc. It says I am to send the check to cover taxes, surcharges, and insurance on the winnings. Then they will transfer funds of
$54,000.00 to my designated account. Is this on the level or a

Okay, my mom is not getting a job here (Atlanta), and she would like to move to Connecticut, only thing is: she wants to get rid of the house without messing up her credit or my brother's (he's on the papers too, like a co-owner or whatever) if the house goes into foreclourse. i just recently moved out an apartment i rented for 6months and now the rental company is billing for all sorts, carpet replacement, painting, countertop resurfacing, etc and I dont know what to do?
