I recieved a check for $2,194.00, from the Authentic claims, Inc. It says I am to send the check to cover taxes, surcharges, and insurance on the winnings. Then they will transfer funds of
$54,000.00 to my designated account. Is this on the level or a
scam. Thanks, Ginny

I would persoanlly call it a scam - clearly they are asking for money before any exchanges take place - ON WINNINGS!!??

Please don't be tempted to send money - if this is a genuine win then perhaps you should contact them requesting that the money is placed into your account and any monies owing will be taken from that.....I bet you won't hear from them again.

Its hard to believe people do these things but, sadly, the reason it is done is because people believe in it and the con-artists make a fortune.....you will end up not winning Ginny but losing!.

It's a scam. Send them a letter with plenty of your favorite expletives and tell them where to go.

If something sounds too good to be true then it usually is! My old mum used to say that and you know the other saying - mummy is always right!
