I know, I know, bad bad bad.

Here's the situation:

I have been a good customer for over 10 years.

I have excellent credit.

I have funds to pay off the credit card and am about to (half now, half in January).

I have a lot of expenses in the summer, so my pattern has always been that I run the bill up in the summer and pay it off completely (half in fall and half after Christmas).

This is the FIRST TIME this has EVER happened, and it's by less than $100.

AND ***** I wouldn't have gone over if it wasn't for an incorrect charge.

SO....

1) Do I dispute the charge or ask the company that messed up to refund it (seems like a refund in the present would not address the overlimit issue but a dispute would)?

2) My agreement says default=any incident of going over the limit...is this kind of thing automatically triggered - am I better off not to bring it up before I pay off the balance?

Thanks :-)

Okay, so im thinking of resigning my Suntrust computer tech job to work for Worldspan IT Engineer (Programmming) it's better pay than at Suntrust but the only thing is that i first have to go through a 3 month training. the Recruiting process states: "Review for hire with reporting manager following successful completion of training program" I am 30 years old. I am not sure if i should be taking this career risk in being "hired" and reviewed...i am not sure now if i should resign from my secure full time job or take a risk with this other job and see if i get hired after the training. Has anyone worked for this company or know someone who has ? If so, how has their exprience been? Is Worldspan a good company to work for and to get hired after the successful completion of the training program ? Any advice would help. THanks

I have a credit score of 710 or so. I have 2 other C.C. one with a 1200 credit limit, the other 15K. I do have a lot of debt compared to income though. Can I ask them for a credit limit increase after i get the card. What are the chances they will give it to me?

I am stuck on a problem. It seems cut and dry, but it's not.

Sold 1000 shares @ $32 a share and broker deducted $125 commision, remitting the balance. So what is loss on sale of investment? I think it should be $4000 but that does not work.

Does anyone know of a site where I can get my credit report or credit score for free without having to have a credit card? Free credit report.com wants a credit card number and I don't have one.

I am in the wanting to buy a new home and have found I really like and the owners of the home have just moved into their new home they had built and seem like motivated sellers. They have went down on the price from 142,900 to 139,900. I was wondering could I get away with asking for more off the price. How much?

like I said her experience is limited and she is applying for similar positions not upper positions. Her experience includes in factory work: Build & inspect PC Panels, audit PC Panel parts, Feeder on a J machine, Packer, Inspection, knows how to operate a tow motor and could easily get a new licience for it again. So does anyone have any ideas for a short JOB OBJECTIVE sentence.

Well, I have been looking like mad in my area for a server position. I have two strong leads at Applebee's and Outback.

The problem is this: I get the feeling I could make more as a server at Applebees, since they don't combine tips as Outback does, and there is a faster customer turnaround time. However, I was informed by the Applebee's manager today that they do not have much space for servers at this time but room for a hostess. I am told I could work my way up to server, but I will have to work days (I wanted weekend nights, serving).

I guess this is kind of a composite question. My interview at Applebee's is tomorrow, and my interview at Outback (I already passed the required test) is Monday. I feel like I have to decide now whether to go with Applebee's or Outback.

What is your opinions on this? Do you think working my way to server from hostess or turning down the hostess job and going to the outback interview is the better choice?

Thanks!

The American economy is driven first and foremost by consumer spending. Some think that this crisis will trickle down into the rest of the economy and snag businesses and people who have poor credit ratings and limit everyone's ability to finance large purchases, thus hurting those who are selling those large purchases, thus... well, you can see the dominos... Also, the net worth of the average consumer is sliding as the value of his home corrects. Others believe that this is far smaller than past crises such as the S&L shakedown during the 80's. The economy then barely burbed. Please give me your opinion, and more importantly, direct me to an interesting article on the subject.

Oh, and one more thing, New Jersey, your property taxes are atrocious, and I'm leaving your economy by the end of the year.

Same pay, almost equal benefits, but better career oppurtunities. My current boss is super nice, and my co-workers rock as well.

Should I stay or should I go?
