Heres the thing, i work at the zoo, making 5 dollars an hour, i get paid in cash, and well it sucks! Or i can find a way to work but make more.. Please help me..

Call the labor board, that is under minimum wage and illegal pay.

$5 an hour is below minimum wage if you are in the US - your employer is paying you illegally if you aren't getting minimum wage. And if they are paying you in cash and aren't taking out taxes, that's a second illegal thing they are doing. If you are accepting your pay in cash and aren't filing a tax return and paying taxes on it, then if your total for the year was over $400 you too are doing something illegal. You are still required to pay taxes, it doesn't matter how old you are, if you make at least the amount for the year where you are required to file. If they are taking out social security and medicare taxes, that limit is $5350, but if they aren't, it's $400.

Go to college, learn something or get an associate degree, and apply a job for a supervisor position at a local grocery store.
