How much money do you get back per child? I heard that it's 1500 from one person and another person told me that you don't get anything. Can someone tell me please? I am not married but I am living the father of the child/my fiancee. He makes more than me. So should I claim the child since I make less or should he claim the child since he makes more? We're not gonna claim the child til next years income tax b/c the baby will be born next year. I live in PA and I've searched all over the Internet and couldn't find anything on it. Thank you for your help in advance.

a friend of mine owes 12,000.00 in taxes and they put a levy on her bank accounts. i know they can only do that one time. I will speak to a tax guy and the bank on Monday. I am also going to speak to the person that sent me the levy letter from the IRS office.

Can anyone give me a suggestion on how to appeal this since my friend is on disability.?

Also, how do i right a hardship letter to the IRS and what do i say in the letter?

I'm currently on a situation were 4-5 years ago i tried to apply for a house. the lady that submitted all the paper work. created a false W-2 saying that for a single year i made over 50,000.00 dollars. this was not true. At the time i was not aware of what she was doing. The lady was arrested under fraud and i never got the house. Now the IRS wants me to pay because supposively i made alot of money. I tried to fight it but they say their is nothing that i can do and i need to pay. Has anyone ever been on this situation before. Im on a low income job and i have proof that in the year that she filed i only made 5,000.00. I need some help. I live in the state of California. I really appreciate all of the answers. Thank you.

We live in the state of Arkansas, and my friend works at a local pharmacy. She works some really crazy hours. Like, 4-5 days a week, all of which are shifts of 12-14 hours each. Now, this doesn't sound like a bad deal, but her boss won't pay overtime rates. What he does (and this seems really wrong to me), is that he pays her for the normal 40 hours a week, and anything over that, he pays her through another financial company that he set up. He refers to this as "contract labor" . Simply put, she makes the same for a normal hourly rate as she does with her overtime hours. She might even work 70 hours, but never gets paid a dime more for her overtime.

So, is anything about this wrong or illegal, or does she just have an incredibly crappy job?

I opened a bank account and they asked me if I wanted to credit card said "sure" but now I regret it...

It said I have a "$500.00 credit limit"

and

Interest and Grace period:

Interest is calculated at an annual rate of 19.75%, the equivalent daily interest rate is 0.054110% but then it says
"You lose your interest free status if we do not receive full payment by payment due date. "

what? What does this all mean? Is it a good deal or am I being ripped of?

thanks in advance.

I'm looking for a new job and a friend gave me this advice when deciding between the two jobs....."Frame all decisions through a window of timeliness. In the long term, are your choices sufficient for your aims? Embracing distant gratification can help overcome short-term work difficulties like a pro"
what do you think he means by this?

I had to buy a used auto from 'we finance' like early this year due to no credit establishment. And I have been sucked paying over 200% of the blue book price. And I don't want to keep paying that because financial situation these days is not really good. If I stop paying monthly payment and they repossess the auto, how would it affect my credit and what else is expected to happen?
