Im in a dilemma, im in a job, where im taken advantage of, theyve got me doing illegal things and dangerous things, i ended up in the hospital yesterday but they dont have any insurance. I really want to quit, and i never signed any papers when i started working for them, so, what are the laws on giving your notice,i live in texas and im just so tired of this job, i want to quit tomorrow. can anybody tell me what the law is if i didtn sign anything or anything?

There are no laws about notice (whether you sign anything or not).
Texas is an at will state. You can quit (or be fired) with or without cause.
I am not into litigation, but if you are being forced to do ilegal and dangerous things, I would probably see a lawyer or report them. If you leave, they will just take advantage of the next person.

There is no legal obligation in Texas for an employee to provide any type of notice (unless you have a written employment contract that requires notice -- which you don't have). Giving notice might help you with future jobs, but most employers don't give that much information out reference wise.
If YOU are being asked to do things that are illegal (e.g. file fraudulent reports with some governmental entity), then you should quit immediately. The same would be true if you were being directed to do things that are dangerous. If you refuse to do something illegal and they fire you because of your refusal, you would be protected under what's called the Sabine Pilot doctrine (its an exception to the employment at will doctrine).
If you were injured at work, you would (or should) have workers compensation protection. I assume your hospitalization was due to an off-the-job injury, and they would have no obligation to provide you with health insurance.

I've never heard of any law stating you have to give any kind of notice but to do what is good practice is to give a two weeks notice. I am pretty sure that the law states all business must carry workers compensation insurance and if you where at the hospital or docters becuase of a work related injury they will ask you these questions. The employer usually is supposed to be notified that you hurt yourself on the job and you want to be treated. All laws vary and I am not an attorney. Good luck and do what is right.

No, you don't have to stay there and you are able to quit without notice - unless you have a signed contract with them, and it sounds like you don't.
They are able to fire you without notice, and you are able to quit without notice, you are an At Will employee, meaning you both can act without notice.
The question is though, do you want to risk not having them as a reference? Would it be possible for you to give a week's notice so at least they think you're leaving on good terms, so you can use them for a future reference?
Sometimes its best not to let them know exactly how you feel about them as long as you might need them in the future and until you can put some distance between them on your resume.
Life's too short to stay somewhere you're not happy.

If they are doing illegal things, you should report them to the authorities. It isn't a law that you give notice, it just messes up your job history. Even if you don't use them as a reference for your next job, you will have a gap in your employment history when you apply. You will have to falsify on your next job application which if found out could get you fired. However, if they have you doing illegal things....quit.

Legally you can just walk out. But it's a good idea, and considered much more professional and acceptable, to give 2 weeks notice.

You can just quit but you won't be able to use them as a reference. If you have not complained in HR you should. You should also file a complaint at your local government's labour branch as this company should be put on notice.

you dont have to but it is always good to do that for a future consideration, you never know if maybe you have to go back, leave on good terms is always the best way

file workmens comp. and u don't have to give notice to quit most people do it but its not required
