Where can I find section 8 tenants? Are there any websites or resources dedicated to finding these types of tenants?

I have already contacted my local HUD agency and they have listed my property already. I just to be proactive and find them as well.

Thanks.

Put an ad in the paper and they will call and call. If you have that weekly cheapie Wednesday paper or its equivalent, put the ad in there for your apartment. There is a shortage of section 8 apartments here so they call and call.

No problem! If your property has been listed, then so have you - as a landlord. Your name and number and type of house is listed, so when a potential tenant asks the local HUD for a listing of section 8 landlords, they'll get a list. Traditionally, you don't come to the tenants. It's the other way around, but it's always nice being offered a house! It's a pity I'm not eligible for section 8 due to my ex-husband's lack of responsibility. Bad references, thanks to him. Best of luck to you!

Go to your local court house. They'll provide you with a list of people with section 8 in your area.

GO TO YOUR CITY HALL AND THEY WILL DIRECT YOU TO THE AGENCY THAT HANDLES THAT FOR YOUR AREA. THEY MAY EVEN OFFER FREE CLASSES FOR LANDLORDS.
