Hi,

I'm a student returning to University next month. To save cash this year, I plan to be a real cheapskate. I'm just looking for recommendations of cheap and easy meals and web links etc. I'm just looking for some snack ideas and for some main meal ideas for seven days of the week

I saw the charge on my cc statement. I found the website but did not have phone, only email. Website did not respond...it's been 2 weeks. I emailed them twice and threatened to report them to BBB. Do you have any suggestions as to how to handle this? Thanks.

Okay, am I reading a plot into this that is not there?

There is a Mexican holding up a sign with something like 7.90 pesos. Then he holds up a sign with a different amount.

On the other side of the screen is a hispanic guy eating something from the McDonalds dollar menu. He is in a hammock and surrouded by flowers and blue skies. HE motions and invites the Mexican in.

The message is that the "dollar" menu is consistent and good. The IMPLICATION is that he is inviting the poor Mexican into our country to enjoy our consistent monetary system and our consumer products.

The next scene, the Mexican that just came in invites a women in who was doing the same thing with a sign. Again, this appears to be telling them to come on in, then to invite their friends and relative.

Has anyone else seen this? Are you getting the same message out of it?

Do you know where we can send an email to let McDonalds know that we don't like this message?

My husband and I normally file taxes separately every year. We just had a new baby this month and don't know who should get the tax exemption on the w-2. He makes more money than I. Also, I have another daughter from a previous relationship that I already use for an exemption.

iv set up a direct debit using my credit card bank sort code and account number. Does this act as a normal direct debit and the company would just deduct the amount from the balance of my credit card. Or do I have to fund the account? Im confused

We have a 5 year fixed at 5.25% on the first and 8% fixed on the second. Our first loan amount is $358, 400 and the second is $100,000.

The 1st will adjust in March 2010. The Margin is 2.250. The Periodic Rate Cap is 2.000 and the Lifetime Rate Cap is 6.000.

How can I figure out how much my monthly loan amount is going to be, assuming the interest rate adjusts to the max? And how often will it adjust?

We are not so worried about the second, since it is fixed for 10 years.

We need about USD $1.000.000 for an apartments construction project in South America. We are looking for investors from anywhere in the world. We know about Venture Capital, Angel Investors, Funds, etc. So we need to know which one is the best to get the money. What is the first step to get it. Total ROI (Return on Investment) is about 200%. Very low risk level. We can not get a lot from the local banking system, due to the common unfair interest rates, so we must go for foreign cooperation and at the same time get the benefits of a devaluated local currency by getting the money from a foreign currency, like US Dollars, UK Pounds, Euro, or so.

I have a checking account already established with a credit card from the same bank. I am unhappy with the service I have received with them and I am planning to switch to another bank.

Before I close my current account, I would like to know should I start my new checking account with the new bank now and apply for a card when the account is established?

Or should I apply for a credit card now before I start the new account?

My concern is closing my current account and starting a new checking account with a new card would not look favorably for my credit. However, would starting the new checking account first make approval easier since I would have an account established with the new bank?

If someone orders a product, such as candy, wrapping paper, etc., from a fundraiser designed to raise funds for a non-profit organization, is the amount spent for those products tax deductible? Or is only money contributed for nothing in return tax deductible?

i started new job about month ago.people are not very freindly. its quite hard to get to know them.I am employed to look after children but they are getting me to do clearing up after their mess feel like the dogs body around the school.while they attend to the children,i am a freindly person.
