I don't know what that would be in Euro despite the fact I'm from Ireland.
Basically would you cut off your own hand in exchange for that much money?

My left hand, probably. My right hand, doubtfully. It's really a question of what would add more to the quality of your life. I actually know a few people who have lost hands in accidents, and they're living quite fine. And they'd be even happier with a million bucks!

Of the people that said yes, I wonder how many would reconsider if you showed them the money and handed them a machete. I suspect most of them would not go though with it.

No - I'd want at least £2M to cut off my left hand. £4M for my right. But you could not pay me enough money to cut off both!
