After looking for a loan online, I was contacted by Linda Barnes from Loan Aid Inc., phone number 1-866-821-8501 ext 2. She told me I was guaranteed for $10,000 at a 7% interest rate to be paid over a 2 year term for $447.27/mo, or a 4 year term at $239.00/mo. But to "insure" my loan, I have to pay a $1250.00 security fee. She said she would be emailing me all the documents to fill out.

I live in an apartment in Bucks County PA, I don't really know all the laws around here, but we have been trying since the day we moved in to get things fixed. We have called NUMEROUS times and most of the time we never even got a call back, let alone a maintenance person. When we finally got one, he started the job... over a week ago... and never came back. The wall of our shower is rotting behind the tile, it is covered with a trash bag and we can't fill the tub to give our kids baths, and they tore apart our bathroom! Who can we go to so we can get them to fix this and other problems?

How can I minimize the penalties and interest? We now estimate that more tax will be due than what was paid with the 4/15/07 extension, but we won't have all the info needed to file the return til 10/15/07 (due to some late K-1s).

I opened a Washington Mutual account last week. I deposited a $4500 check from Citifinancial. The check itself is a personal loan check. They said it would take 7 days for it to fully go through and be available to me. I really need the money soon. I need to purchase a car ASAP! I really can't afford to wait 7 days. Is there anything I can do to speed the process up?

I have been informed that my job role is going to have a drop in pay and although at present my wages are not directly effected the drop in 1 pay code band will reduce my earning potential in the future. Does anyone know the employment law regarding this issue? At present I have just been informed casually but I have been told by the Union that this should follow consultation proceedings were potentially redundancy could be an option?

Any advice would be appreciated.

That my Chargeoff car(repo) was opened on 7-2001. The last activity was 3-2002. The last payment was 9-2002. When will it fall off of my credit bureau reports? Also, it was sold to someone else. When will it drop off?

I always wonder why people would buy items off of EBAY when you can buy from a store that you can return it to & not pay postage, thats where most of all the new items come from used items are different story.

A salesman walked in my store and offered me his company's business as credit-card processing services. He talked me into replacing my existing service with his company's by assuring me better benefits with no cancellation fees. And if I apply it, I'll be given a free software. So I did applied it and signed the application without reading a statement saying that if I terminated the agreement at my sole discretion, a termination fee is applied.
I was asked to call their 1-800 number to set up and activate the account once I canceled my old service, but I never did. So I never used their service. But they sent me monthly statement and charged me some fees by automatically debiting my bank account.
Too slow I closed my business and acknowledged them about it. They then threaten me about the termination fee. I told them that I never used their service and that their sales person told me over and over verbally that I could cancel at any time
without any fee. But the collection continues

I have lots of jewelry, I purchased over the years, (good stuff) I also made a lot myself, (semi-precious stones)
I was going to open up a store with some antiques, fine florals, and other creations of mine, however someone discouraged me from doing it (because of the economy) and now I've been stuck with all these things for more than two years, I urgently need to sell them, not just get rid of them, they are expensive, (have used ebay and hasn't worked, I really hate ebay)

Other than yard sales does anyone have any good ideas on how I can sell them, some framed art most of it ranges btwn $500 to over $ 1000 dls., I can't sell it at fleemarkets. Please help, I've been to some stores looking into consignments, but people don't take them.

I made an electronic payment on my visa through my bank, as I have done for the past 7 years. I called the bank and had the account rep transfer a payment from my checking to my visa on the due date.

Well, as it turns out the transfer was never completed on their end.

In fact, the next month I made a payment by check for the usual minimum amount, not knowing that the electronic payment did not get processed.

Two months later, my visa was declined at a store. I called to check on the problem and found out that the bank's original mistake had resulted in a 60 day late payment on my account.

The bank now says "there's nothing we can do" about this error. They're is blowing me off and not returning my calls about this problem. I've been trying to resolve this since April of 2007, with no luck. Any suggestions?
