I have been out of the US since October 2005 and plan on returning to live. I expect to relocate to South Miami Florida, or Henderson Nevada.

Can you tell me what I should expect to spend a year for a family of four(two teens) to live well including normal savings for maintenance, appliance replacement, etc..
Some of the non-neseseties and neceseties I will have are:
1/monthly payments on a new $20,000 car
2/ Apartment rent of $1000
3/ Dine and leisure for wife and kids- $300 a week

Need the prep, Thanks!!

Why would a national Non Profit job ask who financed your education?
There is no opportunity for continuing education at the job. Meaning the organization will not pay for anyone to go back to school

I have a new company and a new product. My product line (receiving/swaddling blankets) is SAFE, well-tested, has an exclusive award and is unique to the market to date. There is nothing like this for sale and parents will love it! This particular award gives my product line a money back or replacement guarantee. It also comes with a national ad campaign. My fabrics are from the same source as very well known, reputable companies who manufacture bedding/sheets. I need a sales broker to secure orders before my investors will commit to backing my company. I look semi-risky to them, without securing wholesale commitments to purchase (because I am new, I lack brand recognition at present and my product has not been sold yet - it's BRAND NEW! and I'm BRAND NEW). Any info would be most helpful. I have tried contacting some on my own, but I have no established relationship with them - so it's been difficult. I do not have enough financing to attend a large trade show yet. Open to investors!

I got a job this week working for a web developer/e-commerce business. They needed a "college student" to finish a "quick IT/Networking" project. Basically, their IT guy quit, and left the place a mess.

I have already completed wiring the network throughout the building, and everyone is up and running. They have asked me to organize some of the hardware and software, as it was previously a mess.

Currently, it seems, I am employed project to project, I would like to stay on with this company but I am primarily a web-designer, does anyone know of any techniques, or have any advice on how I make the transition from, the guy sorting through boxes in the corner to a new designer?

I am sure I am slightly less qualified than their other designers (not totally familiar with Flash, etc), but are there any techniques I can use to sell the attributes I do have?

I had an account with ugly duckling for a car that was a lemon. My last activity on the car was in March of 2001, when I told them to come and get it, because I refused to pay for a big potted plant in my yard! They eventually charged the account off, and sold it to another company, who also shows up on my credit reports. This happened in 2005. My question is, when Ugly Duckling drops off of my credit reports, will the other company drop off too? If not will I have to wait til 2012 for it to run its course too?

I'm wondering what industry I should try to get my foot into. I recently became a single mom to an 8 month old. I need to work full time, but I have no real experience, nor do I have a college degree.

I've had experience with web design, Photoshop, and other things internet-related. I have also done more than a few years in the "fast food" industry (which I am NOT going back to). I've been a housekeeper for a resort management company. But I'm getting laid off at the end of the summer season, and I need full-time work that pays more than minimum wage!!

I don't even know where to begin to look for jobs, I am working on a resume, no matter how small... Right now, it looks like I'm going to have to strip or something to make above minimum wage (eeuuww).

Any suggestions, for how to find a GOOD job, with little or no experience besides what I've listed??

All answers are appreciated.

My income tax refund was intercepted because of outstanding student loans. The following year, I had a back injury and couldn't work. I lived in low income housing and depended on a church food bank for food. So I didn't file. The following year, I was able to work, but low income, and again didn't file, unable to pay to have my taxes done. I still cannot afford a professional preparer to catch me up, and am afraid to talk to IRS. What now?

I am not good at interpreting the stock market ups and downs, and I am a noobie on the economics.

Recently this week, every major news papers and news TVs report that there something bad happened the U.S. stock market, and it is affecting the world.

Can anyone tell me what exactly happen and explain to me in easy way?

I honestly do not know what happened to the stock market, and all I know is it is not a good sign.

Can you also tell me, how bad is it? Is it so bad that it deserves to cover the front page of the news paper?

And what will happen as a consequence of this happening?

Thanks in advance.

We have a lot of equity in our home, a credit rating of 661 and wanted to borrow $25k for improvements, NASB -(816)765-2200, says, "we don't like your credit score". One other loaner (Quicken)(734)805-5000, says," there are no more 2nd mortgages/equity home loans and the market is not lending against property values no more". Is this the trurth or are they forcing me into a refinance to have 100% control of my property?
