I have 30 more hours to get my degree in Accounting, but I really can't afford to go back to school. I am looking for a career instead of just a dead end job and I have been thinking of starting my own bookkeeping service. Just not sure which way to go, any personal experience in either field would be helpful. I appreciate any insight you could give! Thanks, Ronna

If my husband provides insurance through his work to his daughter and is also paying child support on her is he going to be responsible for the co-pay everytime she goes to the doctor? His daughter also has a secondary insurance through the state that her mom collects we were just wondering if the secondary insurance would pay or who would be responsible.
The mother or him???

I have researched the stock and it is currently a "moderate buy" and is anticipated to have about a 10% gain this year. I love the new iMac and think that will be a huge plus for the company.

With this jumpy market I was going to put in a buy with a market limit. Any help would be appreciated.

I am 18 years old, and have applied for a job for different stores. Everytime I applied to work for a certain store, I applied to be a cashier. At some stores I did apply more then once. When I applied at every store, I completed the application and filled out my correct information. I applied to work at 5 different stores, and 2 of them were supermarkets?

Every time I applied for a job, every store refused to interview me. I did qualify for every store job, that applied for.

weeks ago I applied to work for a Petsmart. I applied online, and spoke to the manager of the store. I told him, that I have experience with animals and I also told him, that I am willing to do the job I applied for. He told me to call him back the following week. The following week, I called him back and he refused to give me an interview for no reason.

Because of this bad experience, I hate stores. What is the point of treating a job applicant like this?

We bought a new home , and have less than 120 days to sell our existing home. Our listing agent was also the selling agent that we bought from.(New home)They accidentally listed our home as a TRIPLEX on the MLS. The realtor just called and I pointed out the error. Realtor apologized and said no calls have came in , we should lower the price.

Your input please, especially realtors.

Do you feel that Realtors should be held accountable in some way for a foreclosure. Sub-prime lenders may be giving out loans too easily, but who is pushing people into homes they might not be able to afford? In Connecticut, buyer's agents and seller's agents both work for commission and are part of the same Realtor organization, they want the home to sell for the highest amount possible. Should they return the commission or pay a fine if the house goes into foreclosure (within a certain time frame after the sale)?

I was making $14.50/hr being an assistant manager for five months (I've been with the company for 2 years) and the woman who used to be the assistant manager is coming back to work, she was getting paid $17.00/hr. To come back to work my boss offered to pay her $18.50/hr (since I have to go back to school and will be working 35 hours instead of 40 hours) I'll be going down to Leasing Manager and down to $11.00/hr. I asked him why he's going to be paying me so low and he said "it's just not in the budget" I don't think it's fair that he offered the assistant manager more money to come back but can't afford to keep me at my current wage. Is there anything I can do?

Let's say I sold stocks for $2000 short-term gains and $1000 short-term loss in this year. But I also have $5000 short-term loss carried over from previous years. Then how much previous short-term loss can be offset this year?
Is it $3000 or $4000 (because of $1000 net short-term gains this year)?
