CPA in a CPA firm often leads to CFO position. A MBA then working managing people or being a CEO of a small company can lead to becoming a large companies CEO.

Firstly, start somewhere in your chosen field at the bottom and learn everything about that industry or business. Polish your spelling and communicative skills until you can write and speak about your job better than anyone you encounter within your field. Lastly, understand that not everyone will be an executive nor should be considered one. Sometimes it is better to me the "one to go to" because you have excellence in your knowledge.
