I have been subpeona'd to for this exam. What can I expect? I don't have any assets at all other than my wages. Will they finally accept a payment plan? The judgement is for a deficiency balance on a car I let go back 10 years ago. The judgement is 9 years, 11 months old and our SOL is 10 years but can be renewed for another 10. Is it common for the court to renew a judgement like my situation?

I really want to have a successful career as an electronic engineer. I'm currently working as an electronic technician now, but I'm not happy with this job because it is mostly assembly work. When I first got my AA degree in electronics, I was a little curious about the field because there was such a broad range of things that you could do. I switched three jobs and I am on my fourth one now. I stayed at the previous jobs from 6 to 8 months each. I really want a component level testing job. That's why I'm thinking of quiting this one, but I worry that being an electronic technician is irrelevant to being an electronic engineer. I know that many engineers never had a trouble shooting background. I wonder if I should switch jobs or just wait until I receive my BA in about 10 months. I know it looks bad to jump from job to job.

I go to STORE A to buy a product. I use a credit card thus STORE A gets the money for the product from BANK B (credit card issuer).

Within a month BANK B wants the money so I go to BANK C (write a check/internet check) to pay BANK B.

I ----> A ----> B ----> I ----> C ----> B

Okay so I go to "A", "A" goes to "B" then I go to "C", "C" goes back to "B"

Now, wouldn't it be better if I just paid "A" some how and be done with it! Okay I am bored.

Will someone invent a better system (other than cash) where you don't have involve B and C ?

As we all know, they are facing bankruptcy. I am one of the last ones that they offered 100% financing with, and my terms are great, even other mortgages companies told me they cannot beat what Country Wide offered me. So what can happen to my loan if they go bankrupt? Also, should I try to seek financing elsewhere because of this fact?

Looking to buy a house and been working with a real estate agent. I was searching on buyowner and saw a couple of houses that interest me. I'm not sure if I should go to see the houses on my own or let my real estate agent know about it too. I do feel bad if she doesn't get any commission on it becuz she has been working hard in showing me houses.

I have a medical flexible spending account through my employer.

I have a certain amount deducted out of each pay period and have access to tax free funds throughout the year to cover various medical expenses including co-pays, prescription drugs, dental work, etc...

The account is a "use it or lose it" type thing. So my question is....if you don't use it....and you end up losing it...where does the money go?

I really don't see how that can possible be legal as this is money that you have earned. Why can't you just have the excess at the end of the year rolled back into your pay and taxed at a normal rate?

Any thoughts?

Let's say you owned 4 shares of XYZ corp. The shares are valued at $50 per unit. Total worth is $200 (4 shares x $50). Let's say the stock does a 2 for one split. You now have 6 shares. However, after a split the price goes down per share. Now, it's worth $33.33 per share. Now, let's say you decide to sell one share. Come tax time, how do you list the original buy price and sell price?

Buy = $50
Sell = $33.33

It looks like you lost money but you really didn't.
